I find it hard to believe that a scum would come out and counterclaim Despo at this point.

 

For all we know, either of them might be telling the truth, or maybe both.

CS, what makes you think Basel is a safe lynch? He claimed titan, for the umpteenth time. Dice said titans=town. Not saying Basel is confirmed yet (would need to vet Dice somehow, and then would need all 4 titans to come forward to make sure mafia isn't trying to fake claim), but I don't think he's a "safe" lynch.

It is safe in the sense that it's:

 

- not a shot in the dark

- not a lynch on a claimed town PR (like Despo, Thorum, Dice or Ithi would be).

Who else is there? At the moment, I no longer believe you are mafia (probably third party, as in my original post). Had it not been for the dice-quote that there's ONE vig, we would have had time to discuss everything ... At one hour (and a few minutes) to go, that hope is futile. YOU should be the one 'blaiming' dice, it's you who's gonna get lynched because of that mixup (if enough people show up still).

 

There almost never are 100% safe lynches, unless you catch someone on a flat-out lie. Desp's is the only lynch that's gonna happen today, however. And we don't want a random lynch.

Hmmm. You might be right, and he could have been counting on other titans not coming forward to hopefully clear him somehow. I wouldn't like losing someone who could easily become a confirmed townie, but since others don't seem to like my idea anyways... I dunno. I could switch to him I guess.

 

I know CS, Thorum, Dice, and myself are active. Maybe Ithi. That's potentially 5. Do yall wanna switch to Basel? Worst case scenario we lose a vanilla, and this has been a rather uberproductive day 1 for town.

Yeah, that was my whole reservation about it.

 

Then again, if faced with town losing my role or losing a vanilla who might actually be scum, I'd go with the vanilla.
