So you say that early play and a lot of discussion helps town, but then you call my reasoning for voting for you scummy? I also find it amusing that you first mention that your votes across the three threads were a trap, and then it was just a townie move because they have nothing to hide, and now they are joke votes? Make up your mind dude.

How was my story changing?

 

I started the game with making the exact same play in all three threads: I made a bandwagon vote with the very same reasoning, the only difference was the names. I used copy-paste and replace.

 

Some things were a given, obvious the minute I posted them.

 

1) The votes are obviously joke votes.

2) The posts will get attention for sure and they're likely to stir up some discussion.

3) There must be a plan I'm pursuing with it.

 

So yes, Cloud, they are joke votes, they are there to stir up discussion (which is good for town) and they're a trap. 3 in 1 :)

 

I don't think it takes a big logical step to come to these conclusions and I'm sure several players did.

 

Now on to the meta argument.

He's probably scum in one and setting some kind of meta using the other two where he's town. No way to differentiate so just kill'em three times.

The premise is simple.  Csarmi posted the exact same way in all three threads.  If he were Town, why would he do that?  As scum, it makes perfect sense.

 

Since we don't know which game(s) he is scum in, we just lynch him in all 3.  The serves a second purpose in exposing votes on his wagon across all three games.  If he flips scum in one game, for example, and that's the only of the two games that you didn't vote for him what would that say about you?  Scum buddy.  So this is a really a trap to find his scum buddies in whichever game(s) he's scum in.

 

We're obviously overlooking the remote possibility he's Town in all 3 and risking it in favor of the home run swing.

I liked the voting people till they tell us what thread they are mafia in.  Very Reservoir doggish.  Problem is your trains gained a little to much speed this early.  Trains that gain speed early in mafia are usually crappy and bogus.  I think we should try it at some point though.  Maybe on Verb?
