Okay, how did Rand and the 3 wonder women work?

It's a standard G-rated romance.  The only issue I really have with the whole thing is Elayne.  Rand never had any substantial time spent with her other than a few weeks.  That bit was entirely ridiculous IMO.

 

Avi and Rand's relationship developing is some of the best writing in the whole series IMO.  Min and Rand is a bit boring because it's so typical.

A relationship that was forged through friends becoming closer rather than initial disdain or tsundere-ness would be nice.

 

but then, every woman in Randland is a tsundere

I think the original plan was this: Rand spends time with El, then with Avi, then with Min. After that:

1. he dies and end of story
2. he dies then he resurrects then he goes away with the Ogier.
