I think that was one of the more town things peace did. His threat was just awful. Terrible move.

I'm home and not dead yet. So to satisfy Peace as he said I "refused" to back myself up, which is blatantly false, here are the quotes. I don't appreciate it when people twist what I say, especially when I tell people in the original post that I can't go back to look it up at the moment.

This is a basic game. If a mafia were going to claim to try to stop a lynch they are going to claim a role. That means Doc or Cop. He was unfortunate enough to claim a character of someone that was active at the same time. Ithi cc'ed and claimed Eve is Vanilla. Andrej has since come out and claimed Michael also as VT. Would you consider Michael more important than Eve? I would.  Also the Doc role makes the most sense for the old guy on the boat. Cloud's story doesn't make sense and his play has been awful. Ithi's version is backed up by another player. Sometimes you have to do what makes sense. Not because it is what the gameplay guide tells you to do.

Basically it comes down to this.  Would Ithi as a scum player value killing the doc enough to sacrifice herself?  I personally wouldn't if I were scum but opinions differ.

Also, in reference to your comment on Darthe's post.  I don't think mafia ever trade 1 for 1 with a VT.  But with a doc...maybe.  That's the whole contention here.  Do we believe that Ithi would do that?  I know I wouldn't on Day 1.  Maybe day 3 with a full team of scum alive.

No. But that has nothing to do with your fence sitting. Somebody had to hammer. Didn't really matter who at that point. It seemed pretty clear cut to me with Ithi and AJ, town or mafia could have hammered but I'm not mafia so I don't know the plan. But just sitting with a foot in both sides felt anti-town to me. @Peace: you are correct in that u have a hard time reading you. However, I've made the mistake in the past of ignoring my suspicions on someone cause I usually thought they were scummy, and it hurt my team that game. I don't want to make the same mistake again. I do need to learn how to read you better, but that doesn't mean you get a free pass every time I think you're a bit scummy. Fact is, you were acting cautious about a lynch that ended up bagging scum. Its not rocket science man.

 

As for your claim, looking at canon it does appear to be more likely that its a SK or something, could be a vengeful vig tho. I think people arguing that a role couldn't exist in a basic game is a little silly. Basic game doesn't mean NO odd roles, it just means its a simple setup.

 

I do agree with you on one thing. When I'm vig I don't put up my kill for voting.

 

@Andrej: You COMPLETELY twisted my words there honcho. I never said people that aren't in the limelight should be ignored. That was a bold outright lie man. I said nothing about Dice had stood out to me, which is the truth and also kind of the norm for him. I don't often see him.involve himself that much in games, he usually plays from the sidelines. Do I like it? No. But lurkiness isn't a scum tell for him. Incidentally I thought his points on you in a recent post made sense to me however. You DO seem fairly bloodthirsty this game. That said, your character claim still makes it so that you aren't my highest pick for mafia, but it could of course be a mod given safe claim.

 

Dice's point about Peace lying about killing the next person on his train was wrong tho. Peace issuing the threat and then not following up on it was fairly pro-town imo.

Lucian had been hunting for only a couple of days now but he was close. He knew it. He wasn't certain which brother he was trailing, or what  scene he would find at the end of his search, but he knew he was drawing near to his prey. Even in the dark of night, the forest felt... alive. The smells, the sounds, the sights; Lucian had little trouble seeing in the dark. Stalking his prey in human form made for slower work, but here he was careful. Silent, even. The trail of dead deer carcasses had ended a few hundred feet back, but whomever he was stalking had been very careless, leaving a trail for him to follow. Ruined grass, unnatural footprints... He was close...

 

Suddenly, the light of the moon caught on something... Something... Huge. The sound of gnashing teeth and the ripping of flesh was clear now. The hunching behemoth was all silver fur, a huge mass of muscles, tendons, and sharp teeth and claws. He knew this was the one. He knew it was William.

 

 

Silently, Lucian drew the hand-crossbow from the slot on his belt. He loaded it, pulling it back ever so slowly as to not alarm the fierce Immortal. The maneuver was perfect. And silent. With the slightest moment to aim, Lucian let the bolt fly.

 

The bolt hit its target with a loud thud. The bolt pierced the back of William's skull, the barb protruding from his mouth. The first of the Werewolves let out a monstrous, terrible cry. Lucian was already in Werewolf form, reaching William in two strong strides and leaping atop his back. The massive Werewolf stood, trying to shake Lucian off, howling in agony and rage. Lucian was not about to let go of his prey. With one swift and powerful motion, Lucian grabbed hold of Williams upper jaw, his arm now rippling with muscles and thick black fur. Mustering all his strength and with a resounding roar, he pulled back and tore William's skull, his upper jaw ripping away from his lower jaw.

 

Lucian dropped to the ground, William's corpse collapsing to the forest floor. William's blood pooled over the deer carcass he had been feasting upon. Lucian got back to his feet, shifting back into human form.

Unvote for now. Peace could still be a SK, bit my reason for voting him was that he was scum. I had a feeling BG might flip mafia, and him doing so pretty much clears Peace as not being on the scum team. With how town is doing so far, we can stand letting Peace try to prove his towniness more
