[Advanced] The Dresden Files Mafia - Game Over - Ed loses, Verbal wins

Yea well I've read the books, helps a bit. Anyway, I just told you guys what I got on the roles (after I asked John). I wasn't told everything, only that "Lasciel could recruit the survivors". Would I have guessed it based on the books. I don't know.

Lasciel could recruit the survivors + Tessa was a role cop, that should be pretty strong together. The three survivors are pretty good allies.

 

Town has the mason + undead killer.

 

Undead are hard to spread and very vulnerable on the cult leader, but they can get overpowered easily.

 

The reporters make sure the game can be solved.

 

Who are these people? Were they even in this game?

 

 

Yea.

 

Bob (Booboo), Kincaid (Tina) and Demonreach (me) were survivors. If you believe our claims, it's quite evident from the setting why we would be (I've seen you been reading up on characters to game the setting).

Susan was a reporter (I dunno who played her).

 

Lasciel was recruiter for the maffia, she could recruit survivors (not sure which one of them played her, but maybe its noted in the dead thread). Tessa was role cop for the maffia (not sure which one of them played her, but maybe its noted in the dead thread). The maffia also had two goons (to submit NK) and Nicky (makes lynch harder).

 

Town has the mason (you + Harry Dresden + whoever you pull in). Not sure what happens to those you pull into your thread, but if you pull a survivor, his best play will be to help you (and all three were rather strong).

 

The Death Cult converts people by guessing that they will die (they get converted after dying and retain all the information they had, for example the DC knew exatly who the maffia were...).

I believed you were not town, because your logic didn't serve playing as part of the town. It may be just that you are a selfish player, and I got lucky, but much of your logic didn't align with someone considering the town point of view.

See, this is where you're wrong. You've got delusions of grandeur. You believe that the whole game is centered around you.

You certainly didn't get me lynched. As far as I can remember, there were some 20 players in the game. A majority of them voted me.

 

You were among them, in fact, you've pushed for my lynch. I wanted you to, my plan was to get attention, to sound like a crazy player and possibly claim my role. You played right into my hands with your nametalk.

 

Was that a good plan?

Maybe not - but that was the way I chose to play my survivor.

 

Was it good as pro-town play?

Maybe not - but there are worse things day 1 than stirring up the discussion and polarize the game.
