Turin was the one who unvoted saying he would place it again the next morning is Tiink hadn't been hammered yet. Didn't happen, so his poking at Snow for making promises of his ISO and not coming through is a bit hypocritical to me. Although it does seem odd that Snow wouldn't have remembered if he cased Turin or not yet.

Not to sure what to think about the word usage with Peace and Hal. I think it's pretty consistent with her play thus far that she just basically repeats what other people say. Something else not to forget, her mentor is Kaylee. Possible coaching? I've noticed Kaylee hangs back in a lot of games and generally just parrots and asks other people for their opinions without really stating hers. Either way, we need more from Hal.

I've already stated my opinion on Rand. His lack of participation here while signing up for other Mafia games and continuing to play the others he is in irritates me. I understand he could be busy with school work and what not, but I already gave my opinion on signing up when you don't have the appropriate time to play. No need to repeat that.

Same goes for Chuckles. The posts he made yesterday were nothing more than fluff, repeating again and again that he had already stated his thoughts on everyone although the game had significantly progressed. Like I said to Rand: play or GTFO. I also don't like how he didn't place a vote.

Turin sits at an interesting point for me, his vote legitamised the yrain on tiink. It became a case rather than a d1 randombess thing

dunno how i feel thete

If he really did legitimize the train on tiink, I find that suspicious.

Lurking isnt good either

i didnt see snows post, phone doesnt tell me of updates, but that is a sly little vote. Mafia will ofteen say they have reasons they will explain leter but they never do

I expect to see thosevreasons in full later ot major ping

You didn't see the post but you saw the vote? and that he stated he would be back with more. I'm a little confused by that.

I will agree that I personally do not like it when people say they are going to do something. Just do it or don't.

>Rand is freaking out but i cant tell if he is town being rand or mafia yet

Snow just stood out but thats to be seen yet

tiink i dont feel his train. I get the pings but gut says no

Gut says no. no arguing with your gut.

You don't know how you feel that an actual case was made? Don't we need to make cases in order to find the mafia? There is only going to be one cop view this game. So we the town need to work in order to lynch the right people.

All three of these posts have in them a nudge that is trying to stall the Tiink train. Even you said that you feel the pings, so why work to stall?

I need to go to sleep now. Early day tomorrow. Good night.

This seems to me like you're trying to hurry along the Tiink train, and with him having flipped town, not a good thing.

Dap, fair enough I suppose.

Snow, I am finding it odd that you are still agreeing with what I am saying. You seem to be following my line on Tiink. Yet refuse to vote him and instead vote me all the while claiming you did not buddy up and that your vote is not an omgus. The good old "something is off" line when there is no real case on the person you want to lynch. I'm thinking I was right with my initial estimate of the mafia team except Tiink is most likely the third.

Mods, is there a deadline?

Wanting to rush the deadline in order to get Tiink dead?

Likely about to doze off so just incase I wake up dead - AJ is town. Mish is scum. Turin goes either way but it's either him or Mish and I'm putting my money on Mish atm. Those are my readings.

Tiink's read is for him. (and also on Mish, not forgetting that)

Rand and Snow are other fish to fry. For now, Tiink is the best option. Is he flips town then we look at who has cased him the hardest, myself included. If not, then Snow's defense of him is telling.

You said to include you ^.^

@Mish - I wasn't saying it was a bad thing you've been away, just noting it. I've been away too.

Also, I get the irony about my posting about lynching LZM. I stand by it anyway, especially if he doesn't add anything more soon.

@AJ - the fact that you are rushing to lynch Tiink is a scum tell. It indicates that you are mafia and over eager to lynch a townie. Typically town is not so eager to lynch since we can never know for sure.

Also, I was in the earlier mentor game when Turin was mafia that you are referring to. I completely trusted him that game.

Good point, I think.  (I may be way off, but the only way to learn is to put it out there, right? XD )

Who was that really aimed at? You quoted several different people. Seems like the first half is against Turin and the last half against me.

Okay, so after yesterday's events... this is my take on the game.

Snow - His forgetting of Turin's ISO is strange. His read on Tiink was true, however. He is also the only person to really mention the roles thus far in the game, starting with his first post where he playfully claims to be doc. He seemed to try to dictate one of the PRs move for N1, but I don't think there was malice behind it. Leaning town.

Time - Her first post gave me a WTF moment. Page 2 and she checks in by saying she can't remember if she signed in or not? Probably nothing other than ill attention. Her vote was the hammer on Tiink, although that case was a bit better than her others where she basically just posted a wall of quotes. Either way, need more from her.

Rand - Lesigh. Dude is irritating me. His lack of play is bothersome, as well as his choice not to vote. Over defensive. Seems very lurky or that he just isn't paying attention which doesn't sit well with me.

Peace - Keeps it short and sweet. Heckles Rand early on then turns his vote to Tiink after Tiink's obvious play to turn attention off him which looked very scummy (of Tiink) and kept it there. Town read.

Hallia - Still waiting for her reply to my last question. Been hanging back some, mostly just repeats other's thoughts. Probably getting coached up as well. Not too sure...

Mish - Votes Tiink for obvious reasons as he was trying to turn the attention towards her. The fact he turned up town and thinks her scum is interesting. She pushes for a few votes from others, but then again, so did I. Contributing, making relevant posts, sort of aggressive. Town read initially, but keeping an eye on her.

Tbh Dap I figured I was a goner. I went back and reread the game last night since I had the time. Still more thoughts on the other players to come.

Posted

Well, my mentor is answering questions for me, so I guess you could say I'm getting coached some. ^.^  Mainly for Turin, but as I was reading through, I saw a couple of other things that stood out, so I included them.

Posted

Peace. That lynch train didn't look like it was derailing to me.

No..but some unvotes took place and those things tend to be contagious if ya know what I mean Vern.

AJ...in a seasoned player, I'd be giving you a long long look with the stink eye.  Just trying to sort out if you are eager newb (which happens a lot) or scum.

Chuckles - Not much here. No vote, repeats that he's already given his thoughts about the game 10+ pages back. Not contributing much. Makes a bad reason not to post whenever he gets the opportunity. Not too sure, needs to step it up regardless considering he is the one who initially encouraged me to start playing.

Turin - Tricky. Comes across town, but I know he's a very experienced player and can play subtley. (see last mentor game post) Helpful, scum hunts. Some of his later actions are beginning to stand out though. I don't like that he unvoted and said he would revote later and didn't. Especially with his badgering of Snow for that ISO. He joined the train on Tiink early and hopped off late.

Dap - Most active player with post counts atm. Smart player, points out things. Doesn't aggressively pursue too much but will call down for scummy acts. Likes to hammer, could go either way on that. Not digging his defense of Rand or that he thought he would appear soon. He also placed his vote on Tiink for appearing elsewhere and not in game shortly after. Not sure... feels town. Ish. Keeping an eye on him.

Peace, I'm not backing down from anything I said yesterday. I'm aggressive by nature. I pushed hard for Tiink, but I was also confident that I was right. He wasn't the only person I lashed out at. His flip has humbled me a bit... so while I had the time I went back and looked over the info to be had. I tunneled pretty hard, I think. But the reread was enlightening in some cases.

RTE - All over the place. Appears to be skimming at times, makes dumb mistakes (casing Len, wtf?). The big D1 post was a distraction, as I said already. Picked up his activity a lot, but the more he posts the more he looks odd. Needs to tighten up his game regardless of alignment. Probably a townie making dumb mistakes, but still one to look at.

TG - Limited posts to work with. Some ping pretty hard for me though, including the last one where he seems to try to flip my rebuttal to his comment about me and Dap buddying to a reaction scum would have. Speaks out loud instead of directly at people, comes off to me like he is petitioning the town. His don't hammer Tiink post was interesting considering he himself didn't unvote, in which he could've directly helped to prevent that. Also think Tiink was an easy and obvious vote at the time he finally started to play. Thinking one of two things... either a townie who thinks I am scum or scum himself. His quietness has already been noted by others. Looking forward to seeing his thoughts.

I said earlier in the game I would be fine with throwing the D1 pass out the window. As far as teammates telling me to stay low, meh. If that were the case you'd think they would've told me long ago to shut up.

Posted

I see your point about the vote being in their hands, but I did say it. Like I said to Peace, I'm not backing down from any of my actions or words. If Tiink had flipped mafia I believe I would be dead at this point, considering I headed that lynch mob. I wasn't sure if I'd be here now regardless because of my play, and my statement about lynching me if I was wrong is the reason I think I'm still here. The scum team knows I would be looked at hard today, and probably lynched. Pretty obvious tactic.

Posted

Who can really say. Tiink was town and LZM is dead as another vanilla. Those are the only truths we have. Now, if you think I'm the next best candidate then start the train man. I said I would take a lynch if I was wrong. Otherwise, I'd like some feed back on my take of the other players so we can start finding some real scum.

Right

i agree with what you said about RTE. Im waiting for him to appear.

Turin is an odd one. Im not sure either way on him yet

Now peace. Im feeling a little bit of a WOT between you two. Cant really put my finger on it but its forming. Im watching that

Hally you mention that she is getting coached up as well

see the issue there?

Rand is like this alot of the time. I think youll hate him forever lol

but i still think hes scummy

Posted

Lol admittedly I find myself predisposed not to like Rand. Can't really explain why. His post last night pissed me off.

My comment about Hal being coached was more so to the fact that she has a mentor, but it could also be from the QT. I already stated that I see a similarity in the way she is playing to the way I have seen Kaylee play in some of the games I've watched.

Not sure what you mean by the WOT reference? I thought a WOT was a super long post full of quotes?
