*Grabs Wild in a big hug and starts to snoopy dance with him, grabbing beorn in too*

Welcome to the Kin WILD!  Our leader, the Elegant Eldest Lor, will be by very soon to sash you and do all the official joining and welcoming!  LOL  This is  fun group to be in*  The main rule is NO DRAMA..which seems to work very well..we don't ever have any!  LOL  We love the talk with each other about lots and lots of things...in fact Beorn started a great new thread about doing a ten minute story with like a stream of concious type approach!  I'm so glad you are becoming a member of our Kin family!

*breaks off dancing*  By the way I am Twinnie..one of the Council members.  and here *hands him a blue knitting needle*  here is your official knitting needle of the Kin!  Don't worry you don't have to knit with it...around here we use them to give friendly little polks!  Like this..

*pulls out a golden needle with tiny bells ringing on it...starts to bounce and skip around the boys giving them little polks..*

  • Baking powder, 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon, 1 tsp
  • Butter (chopped), 125 gr
  • Baking soda, 1 tsp

Preparation:

Pre-heat the oven at 180°C. Grease a 22cm baking pan.

Process the flour, sugar, spices and butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Transfer to a bowl and press 1 1/2 cup of the flour mix into the bottom of the pan.

Use a fork to combine the egg, soda and the milk, add to the remaining flour mixture with the nuts.

Mix well with a wooden spoon, pour the mixture over the base in the pan and spread evenly.

Bake the cake for about 45 minutes, when done cool on a rack for about 10 minutes.

Then turn out of the pan.
