I have come to change my mind about the current situation.

 

Darthe never really came forth with his full case on BG, and has merely insisted that he is scum again and again. And, even after BG claimed Enabler, Darthe really had no comment on this and just continued to say BG was mafia. Meanwhile, the case BG presented on Darthe wasn't exactly locktight, but he even admitted the parts of it that were only minor points, and even disagreed with EP's idea that Darthe's agreement with EP about his post was a scum tell (I didn't think it was a scum slip either). This tells me BG is trying to case Darthe, but is still trying to look at the siuation rationally, which buys him some townie cred in my book.

 

Darthe on the other hand, pretty much started pouting when people started bandwagoning on to him once he issued the challenge, and what someone else said about his bold confrontational playstyle poss making sense due to him being a mafia aligned Gladiator made some sense as well. Plus, before the challenge was issued, Darthe had been pinging me before.

 

Something else to consider is that this may very well be some townie on townie violence going on, but between the two BG's role does seem more valuable to the town, even if Darthe does still have another challenge left. So Darthe would prob be the safer pick there.

 

 

 

 

Then again, BG may be scum.

While I appreciate the praise, I can't hold a candle to the folks I mentioned. I do the best I can, but they'd crush me.

I tend to consider the job of mafia much tougher than the job of a townie and so I (perhaps falsely) give more credit to people who are excellent at creating WIFOM, deliberate manipulations, etc as mafia than people who are fantastic scum hunters as town.

Yes and I had Len and Ishy marked as mafia day 1, how they survived after my death I don't know.

He is claiming that his case spanned a 20 page increment where the quotes came from. However, a case isn't about quotes, you can make a case with 0 quotes. I haven't really been casing with quotes this game.

He starts the game off defending me weirdly against the obligatory back and forth me and Desp were bound to have (it happens every game). Then when heat dies down on me he buddies up to me agreeing with the majority of my reads. (ignoring the Darthe read.) Consistently refuses to case BG though he continuosly says he will. As the game progresses he starts to throw suspicion on me, even ignoring Nolder's claim to have Mod-confirmed info it was pretty obvious at that point that I was town. Several subtle defenses of Verbal throughout the game in the form of attempting to discredit me. Then the blatent defense of Verbal by activating his gladiator ability. Ignores the possibilty that BG really could be Gendry, who I think would be town.

Of course, this ignores that I just cased BG (partially, not done yet), that I consider your plays to be anti-town, that I consider Verb to be town and have openly said so, that my role and character are as important (if not moreso) than BG's, and that I do not consider your cases actually worthwhile. But you know, besides all that you got it right.

Literally, that was my casework on BG for his posts between exactly pages 50 and 70. Hmm, if despo can't vote me then that is interesting. I wonder if he could hint to us in any way?

I just want to say that looking at what he quoted the bolded looked bad out of context. I think if you read the in between parts you will see my thoughts make sense. Some of the parts aren't even relevant anymore, especially the Leelou FoS's I made and apologized for.

 

Concerning day 1, he conveniently left out the parts where I explained my father in law was in town from China hence a lack of activity. Day 2 was kind of a jumbled mess all around for everyone. But I was still scum hunting. And he says that my case on him was the first time I came out of my shell and only cause it was forced... Yet he quotes a quite large post I made on day 2 and ignores the case I made on Red as well.
