After a manic and mentally draining few days I am back and hopefully with it. Its been baking, Christmas parties, cleaning in preparation and a mountain of ironing which has left me only capable of chitchat lately. Hopefully that is all behind me :D

the villagers gathered around the town sqare after a very long day of discussing who to lynch that night. they were all very nervous, what if they had picked an innocent villager to lynch, or worse, the Angel or the Seer!

 

but they all agreed that they needed to lynch someone! the crowd got more and more exited as the hours drew near. suddenly they heard dthe procession come down the road, and Kaznen was tied up between them, desperatly trying to get loose..

 

"I'm not a werewolf! you have to believe me!" he cried, but the villagers tied him up on the stakes and set fire to it. at first they thought everyhting was o.k. but then they noticed that Kaznen, the local garbageman, did not die! the villagers all looked at eachother, and finally, one of them ran to find a gun with a silver bullet in it. they shot Kaznen through his heart, and finally, he died.

 

the villagers have killed their first werewolf. please send all night actions to me when you can!

Kaznen wanted to lynch Alys. That just about confirms her innocence in my eyes. I admit, I overstated the case for her guilt in the hope that a werewolf would counter claim, but it looks the evil players are being conservative again and refusing to counter. What does it take to get a counter claim around here? It makes me :cry: that you won't gamble even when the game is begging for another finder claimant.

 

Not too certain about Zylazlo- at all. He was on six votes when he revealed as the bomb. That's an excellent time to role reveal if you have a good role, but at the same time, it makes me wonder: why didn't an evil player push him over the edge? Is he evil himself or are all the werewolves already voting for him? I'm more inclined to go for the latter as I don't buy that six innocents would go for one evil player on day one. Also, particularly here, Zylazlo- gives the definite impression of being eager to lynch Kaznen.

To me the dude is 99% innocent. I don't get how his intuition works, but I am in awe of it, and I don't buy for a moment that he would have willingly sacrificed his partner in such an arbitrary way. So let me remove the dude and Alys. That leaves Raena, Tessa, Direwolf Jon and Doran. I'm looking quite closely at these four from now on.

 

It's not quite that simple though. You can see our confirmed werewolf voting for Alys here. I've had some trouble reconstructing the vote since we can't see what happened last thread, but I believe from this and this that at its maximum the vote looked like this:

 

Alys 4 (Kaznen, Zylazlo-, loki redfern, Sirayn)

 

Are there werewolf partners here trying to send Alys down? That's a tricky one because of the three survivors of this vote, one is me and I think it's probable that Zylazlo- is innocent. That just leaves loki redfern.

 

PS: Kaznen, Zylazlo- and loki redfern all haven't unvoted Alys by the second vote I linked to above - despite her revealing as seer.

This vote count is actually false as far as I can tell. You can see Tessa's final post before the lynch here, in which she unvotes, whereas Winter Mist votes Kaznen here. Therefore I'm working off an edited vote count here. I'm not trying to be awkward, O modly mod, I just need to be certain I'm accurate when I do this. So here's my version of the vote count. I'm underlining the werewolf and italicing the probable innocents.

Direwolf Jon, you pinged my radar big time here. I found it odd at the time and now I know that Kaznen was a werewolf I find it even odder.

Suspicious people from the Kaznen vote: Direwolf Jon, Winter Mist, Doran, Raena and Tessa.

loki redfern: Last posted Thursday. Alys revealed on Friday. Can't be suspicious.

Zylazlo-: Probable innocent. Pushed for lynching Kaznen and ... wait.

 

Um. Okay. Maybe not so innocent at all. I'm now much less convinced of his innocence than I was - I've just realised that:

1. Kaznen never voted for him

2. He never voted for Kaznen

3. Both were voting for the same person.

 

For reasons why you specifically are on my radar, Direwolf Jon, please look at the post above. You figured in both the votes I found suspicious, plus your post I linked to above made it look like you were desperately trying to find an excuse to vote for anyone but Kaznen. I'm not half as sure of Zylazlo- as I was, though, so I'll need to think again before I vote.
