Aes Sedai captured by the Seanchan question

Elayne wasn't AS and as above. BTW most AS haven't met Elayne and don't know about Brigitte.

Perhapse. But have ya seen AS damane? They aren't even AS anymore, not in the ways that count. After a while, they become just like all other damane and will even scream an alert if someone tries to free them. Some last longer than others, but they all give in eventually if not rescued in time. By that point, typical AS protocal is no longer even something they think about. So your argument is invalid.

With the way Seanchan view women who can channel I do not believe a sul'dam would allow a damane to bond her. It would be horribly disgusting. I'm guessing on the same level as incest, so I don't think this will happen. I suppose the AS damane could leave out the bonding part and just mention the enhanced stamina and other benefits. But again, the Seanchan hate channeling and I don't think a sul'dam would allow a damane to place and weave on her.

They might if they just think it is a weave to make them stronger. I think the Seanchean would accept that. Later they would find out about the connection of the feelings, and that may make them stop.

I don't think it would happen but regardless it would definitely be an interesting situation. What does everyone think about the compulsion used in the Warder bond? Would it still work if the Aes Sedai was leashed and the Sul'dam?Warder in control of their link?

Why not administer a 4th Oath on AS?

 

"I will not channel if collared by a a'dam"

 

Pretty much take care of it. If the Sul'dam tried to force them to channel, the one collared would die.

Right, so worst case scenario a captured AS dies and cannot teach the Seanchan AS weaves nor be used as a weapon. The Dragon's forces looses an AS...but at least the Seanchan doesn't gain a weapon with AS discovered talents.

If the enemy manages to wrestle my weapon away from me, I'd rather it break and not be used against me than have a small chance of wrestling it back.
