Finnssss22 Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Arafel. Get to grow my hair long, put bells in it and I honestly haven't met an Arafelian I didn't like.
b3arz3rg3r Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 The best of all nations is Seanchan I'd say. Until Semmi messed things up it was probably the best place to live for a commoner. No ridiculous hair styles except for nobles, a straightforward code of law, a stable realm, no border to the blight and a lot of social mobility and No Wisdoms. In the Westlands it doesn't matter much as long as you live in one of the great cities.
csnyder Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Ebou Dar, Altara. Post-Seanchan. Lavish parties minus the strange smell from the Rahad and the threat of the beggar guild.
Halleck Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I chose Andor to live in. The Borderlands have that constant war thing going on with the Shadow and all the southern nations have super hot climates and pretty odd customs. Over all Andor and Cairhien seem the like the two most normal ones, and out of those two Andor's commoners seem to be better off. But if I had to pick a nation, not to live in, that was my favorite I would say Arafel. They can fight, they wear bells so they have a light side to them, and I was just really impressed with Jahar.
Garen Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 Always imagined Ghealdan as being really pretty countryside.
TheAngryDruid Posted May 20, 2012 Posted May 20, 2012 Sea Folk wasn't a choice. I love the Ocean, and female dress code is also appealing! If I have to be on the mainland, they I'd go with Sheinar.
