I'll be posting my absolutley loves and absolutly hates on this asting. The rest of the characters not listed means I think they're OK choices.

Lan (I think Viggo Mortensen should be Lan)

Logain (No McDreamy in my WoT, although I love his character in Grey's)

Aviendha (she looks too sweet and innocent)

Berelain (only Megan Fox can play her, no matter how much I dislike Megan Fox)

The one that really, really, really bugs me in her casting, is Elayne. So wrong!

Only problem is she might be getting a bit on the old side now.

I do not like her as an actor either. But she has the looks for Berelain. It's almost like the part is written for her. I know, I know, it hurts me just as much as it hurts you! But it would have to be a pre-surgery version of her tho...

This a hundred times this! *shudders* ALthough I agree that both Anne Hathaway and Juliet Landau don't work for Berelain. I can't think of anyone currently in hollywood who would work for her, I think it would have to be an unknown because I just don't know who would fit in the current hollywood world.

 

I actually like the castings for both Birgitte, Alanna, and Leane amusingly enough. Plus I think Gary Oldmen as Davram Bashere is pretty much amazing. *laughs* And I was hoping Robert Downy Jr. would make the list somewhere and he did!! Go him as Rodel Ituralde which I can totally see. :)

 

I didn't care for the choice of Elyas Macheras though. I just can't really see that. Okay I just made it through the third part. *laughs*

MY MISTAKE! I have confused Megan Fox with Adriana Lima!!! So I ment Adriana Lima, not Megan Fox. I think AL has the looks for Berelain. But she's a model, not an actress, so we're screwed anyway!

I don't agree with Lanfear I have ALWAYS pictured Angie Joile as Lanfear. She just has the beauty and the calculating look about her to pull it off.

Nah, not AJ for lanfear. She has the cruelty maybe, but she has more sex appeal than genuine beauty.

I don't really agree there. I think in movies say like Tomb Raider, or Alexander she pulls of the beauty more then sex appeal. Esp. in Alexander. We can agree to disagree though. *G*

If it wasn't clearly Alexander the Great, that could be Lanfear coveting Rand, or Lewis. I just think she's got it. Again though agree to disagree. *G*

A good Berelain option would be the tv show actress that plays Ellena in Vampire Dairies. Nina Dobrev.

I think she looks too young tbh. Yes, I know they are all supposed to be in their 18-20s, but Nina Dobrev lacks that maturity in the eyes that Berelain needs. She's simply a bit too... Cute, perhaps.

I was with him on most of his picks. Until I saw tbat he wanted to cast that turd from the biggest piece of crap show on TV as Rand. Seriously, there has never been a more terrible way to spend an evening than watching True Blood.

I saw someone wanting to cast the guy from Eragon (that here has been casted as Gawyn) as Rand... Shudder. There is a REASON that movie flopped!

I disagree about the maturity. I don't know if you watch the show or not... but through the first and second season (if not more), this actress played a vampire, added to a doppelganger human being. And she did a really amazing job as the Vampire - Katherine. She was very astute, manipulative, alluring and you couldn't help but notice her when she walked into a room. Her human role (Ellena), however, is rather lame and such... but that's how she was written so what are you gonna do?

 

Anyhow, I think she's a good pick =)

I have finally found an actress that I can see as Elayne!

 

Meet: Leighton Meester. You probably know her best as Blair in Gossip Girl:

Leighton would need some contacts and some hairdye, but I did manage to find some pictures with lighter hair that shows how she could look:

Yes, of course :) I mean, even if it ever was to be a movie or TV-show with real actors (I've always said that if something happens, it gotta be animation or cartoon) it would have to be mostly unknown actors, like LotR.
