This. I'd say that usually symps know who scum are, and that's how they symp them, as the scum don't usually know who their symps are.

 

Just my .02, as I know DPR could have gone in a different direction. But to "game the mod" for a sec, he's old-school, and the definition above is the old-school definition of a symp.

Well, given that my suspect list was topped by Ithi, I am starting to think more and more that my wires are crossed and I have no damned idea of what is going on. I actually meant a list organizing everyone's Guild (there was one rough list, but didn't have everyone on it) and what everyone's role is. Or at least, what they claim it is.

 

And, as I look at the first page, I see we have lost two docs. There seems to be a few two of things. I wonder if there is a second LD, or a second of most everything on the list, and after one claim, no one wanted to come forward also claiming, for fear it would turn into a counter.

Mafia wanted Ithi dead of course. Maybe some of them claimed town yesterday? I need to check back and see who did it. Leelou was the last one if I remember it right.

 

If we should believe Aemon´s theory then Sakaea as the last chemist is suspicious. I don´t think Aemon was right but Sakaea has been playing very safe this game. Ithi also told us about her reactions in their qt.

 

I haven´t looked through Player´s posts. (The search function doesn´t work.) Who did he defend? Who defended him? Mafia must have considered him being symp after the Symphony post. Christine comes to mind of course but there might have been others.

 

Have everyone found their guilds now? No one lied about theirs?

 

I´m in a strange place between sleep and being awake so I´m not sure I can check this today but I hope I can later.

The easiest way to see if everyone is in their guild, and that no one lied, is to have each person establish their guild and who else is in it. Then we know everyone is claimed.

I've been trying to be active in all my games, and not doing the most awesome job.

 

After all the games I'm in are over, and the ones I'm signed up for are over, plus Ithi's Sith one, I'm going to take a break from Mafia. I'm getting burnt out, and not having as much fun as I should be.

 

That said, I have made a huge mistake in this game. I'm a doctor too. And I've been self protecting every night. Including last night, when I should have protected Ithi. I didn't cus, well...I didn't think to, honestly. Now that I see she's kinda glad she's dead, I don't feel too bad, but it was still a bonehead mistake.

 

So I throw myself on the mercy of the town. If you want to lynch me to check whether I'm lying or not, or the tracker can track me tonight and see me self protect, or whatever you would like.

 

But I am going to Vote Wombat because he has felt off to me this whole game, and while Christine pings a bit, I think having another option for today's lynch is a good idea.

Because the days got past me, and by the time I got myself back together again, all of those I were suspicious of were either dead, or had claimed and I was no longer suspicious.

 

I had an illness in the family, followed by a death, then a funeral, then I had to rush back home, was sick with the flu, my husband came back from being gone for a month, then my mother came to visit. Bloody sucks that it happened when it did, but I can't do anything about it.

 

Regardless, it doesn't change a single thing. My cases are pointless now, and I am staring around, trying to figure out wtf is going on with this game.

Why are you trying to out guild affiliations? It tells us nothing about whether someone is scum or not while letting the scum know who can talk to who.

You see, Wombat, I have a nudging feeling that the one turning the Automatons is NOT in a guild. Therefore, they could not claim a guild. Why else would it have been that we weren't supposed to talk about it until DPR said so?

I didn't exactly volunteer to be lynched. I'd much prefer the tracker track me tonight. What part of "it's up to the town what you do to me" is scummy, exactly? The reactions to my reveal were totally worth it. My top suspect is still scum-bat, with Leelou a close second.

Although, when Tina claimed to be a Machinist, weren't the only Machinists left her and Player? And Player was quite specific that he had to be found rather than find Tina. Then he flipped symp. I'm thinking Tina might be the Dark Monocle. How many machinists were left when Wes lifted the restriction on guild discussion? If the answer is zero, then perhaps he lifted it because there were no town Machinists left.
