NEW INTERVIEW DATABASE

It's an ongoing project, particularly when it comes to the non-WoT part of the database, but it's good enough to go live. I have to catch up Brandon's Twitter this weekend.

Damn Terez, that is impressive. Thank you for all the hard work. Is there any new material mixed in compared to the old one?

There's actually quite a bit of new material. And I really wish we'd kept track of all the new stuff we found (RJ stuff) while we were working on it that we didn't bother to put in the old database. And then there is of course always new Brandon stuff. If you use the database regularly you'll probably come across it when using the tags, which are basically like the old categories (but much nicer since they're more specific and more streamlined). But be sure to click on the 'interview database' link, which has the list of interviews. The 'home' link has the tags and search box.

Yay!

I won't be getting much sleep tonight.......

That's what Luckers said when I first gave him the link a couple of months ago. Except I think he said he was going to spend the whole weekend in it.

Epic, can't wait to dig in. If you don't mind me asking does anything stand out from the new stuff that was surprising/cool when you came across it?

Do you use Twitter? I tweeted a lot of it as I was working on it. I couldn't tell you most of it at this point, but you can follow my Twitter feed back over the last several months and see a lot of it, including links to the original posts sometimes. There was one bit that came up that was particularly controversial, but I think you've heard of that by now. (RJ saying he didn't plan to show the Aes Sedai test outside of New Spring.) Other than that I can't think of anything earthshattering. Some good stuff though. Lots of quotables.

Yeah I'm not on much but I would check on your updates(as well as Felix's twitter just to stay well rounded  ) here and there and saw some of that. I'll take some time to go back through. Cheers.

And so I did. Lol. I frequently just wallow in the database when I'm bored at work.

I was tempted to ask the boss to give you edit access so you could help us keep tags straight and the like—I find it's more fun to browse when I can tweak toward perfection at the same time—but I was worried you'd misspell them.
