Its been quite awhile since we've seen a post from RJ and its been over a week since he went to the Mayo Clinic to have his tests done....I've been checking every day, but all is see is the Harriet post on October 11th.

Has anyone heard anything otherwise? Are there any other sites or forums that update us on how our good friend is doing?

Thanks

If you look through the responses to Harriet's latest post you will see a response posted by Wilson. In this post he states that RJ recieved good news at his latest checkup stating the his amyloid numbers had once again decreased through the drop was not as dramatic as last time (not that it was expected to be). None the less, when your dealing with amyloidosis any decrease is very good news. Wilson explained that he didn't post this as a headline b/c he didn't want to displace Harriet's poem just yet and because he wanted to let RJ make the offical anouncement himself.

Also keep in mind that RJ has always tended to post fewer messeges on his blog when he is hard at work on a novel, so lets hope that is the case right now.

So to answer your question yes I am concerned as always, but there is no need to panic. All things considered things seem to be going well for Mr. Jordan.

Yaaaahhhhooooo! I know this is buried deep in the blog, but for those of you who follow the daily postings, you deserve to know. Sorry, brother. Can’t keep this news inside. Numbers went down. Still in double digits, but definitely down. RJ will give you all the details I’m sure. Hoot, hoot and hot damn hoot!

Why is this at the end of the post? So as not to displace Harriet’s posting at the top. Giggle guys, the poem was meant for that, nothing else. Count yourselves lucky that she shared it at all. Many others are only read at the dining room table amongst family. Consider that she’s let you join us at the table. Lucky we are. Love you sis.
