Good game all. Regarding the setup, it was town heavy and mass reveal would have broken it, but neither or those came into play because we lost so quickly due to poor play and poor luck.

Not town heavy. You had a GF, and there was a SK. Mason teams were pretty cool for that, and the ring could have added to your numbers....or the mafia could have just gained the benefits as well.

Stop being SMC, hehe.

I'm not being SMC. I'm not saying we lost because of the imbalance and Sakaea asked for feedback on the setup.

Mass reveal or even just all of the masons revealing would have broken this game (just run up the non-masons) and overall the Ring (the Ringwraith was 1 of 12 possible outcomes and the town had almost 3x the chance of getting the Ring) and the masons helped the town a disproportionate amount compared to the GF helping the mafia.

Is it ok to not be happy that this game ended so quickly? Dammit - I was having a great time and would have loved to have spent more time on the QT with Verb. It's been very useful.

Good game everyone.

Love you John - was totally Verb's idea that I target you with my inane wittering. He said if he did it, you would have sussed him our straight away. I love forward to our next encounter.

Yay Town! That must be a record right? Three days and three mafia lynches.

Freudian?

Haha... You didn't really scratch the surface of getting me into Ape mode, which is a good thing for my outlook on the game. I understand the strategy though, lots of people try to do it and have found success in getting me to bulldog everyone. Its exhausting for me though. So I was happy to steer away from it in this game.

Wombat was trying to do the same thing... which was partly why he was pinging me.

Anyway, good game everyone!

@Sakea, the setup was cool - only ended quick because of luck, not balance.

Heh - now I know why Ithi wasn't able to rile you up in the slightest -- you were Cop! I was suspicious of you being scum to play so even like that, but I hadn't gotten to the point of thinking you a town power role. Good play on Wombat.

Nice game town! And great job, Sakaea!

Haha, yeah, I assumed you'd draw the conclusion that mellow monkey = role tell. However, this is how I came over to DM to play. If you recall it is exactly how I played in the Vamp game too, aside from having no choice but to yell louder than Nolder when he was rolling out his Jack-spam defense. He was scum, I knew it, I did what I had to do there... otherwise the mellow monkey is more in line with how I want to play here. Allows me to focus on scum tells, strategy and such... can't deny that when I do stay in this mindset my scum hunting is incredibly improved. I pwned that vamp game, and didn't have too shabby a showing here...

The toughest part of DM is not talking myself out of it when it seems too easy, like snagging Ledinna on D1 with that lame ass trap... Haha...

I'm glad you all enjoyed it. I knew there was potential for 3 mason teams to be a problem, but I wanted to see how it would work out. But it didn't break, we all had fun, and I will be keeping the Ring idea for future games, for sure.

@ Maw: Yeah, the idea of no vanilla town appealed to me, mostly cus I get irritated with being vanilla town so often, so I wanted to have a game without that.
