yeah Ishy has it right on why the crime reveal was against the rule. that, and using claims to sniff out scum makes it too easy

 

 

originally Nyn was the cop, i didn't have a replacement lined up for her and was about to MK her off so i randomly assigned the role to another active player so the town didn't lose the cop. generally i wouldn't do this, but because it was a basic game it wasn't fair to the town imo.

normally i leave it up to the scum team if they want their QT link posted. so it you, verb and JLM have no problem with it being posted i will

 

 

Louii, the dead thread is exactly what you guessed, its a place for players who've been killed in the game to talk to eachother and keep along with the game if they want to. it used to be, mods would post a dead thread ont he forum, but some people had a problem not revealing info, or the scum would use it as a means to distract. so the dead thread has evolved into an off site QT link. some mods post the set up for dead players, others dont; some allow dead scum to come onto the QT some dont. some mods don't use one.

But Red, don't you see how dangerous that was? Every player gains a link to it (at least, that's what I think). But Ed was killed, then a replacement.

not really Ley. ed didn't recieve the link to the dead thread until he was killed the 2nd time. if anything it limits the mods ability to pull replacements from the dead player pool if the mod has the action tracker and role/alignment list in the dead thread.
