Since you asked and Kadere is no longer here to disapprove :P the odds of randomly choosing a werewolf are:

 

Number of players - number of vampires = 14 - 3 = 11 possible choices

Number of werewolves = 3

Chance of randomly choosing a werewolf = 3/11 = about 27%

 

However, if the player I'm thinking of is a vampire, I would say the chances of picking Nevare are around 110%. :twisted:

Alys...oppo apparently means opposite number...as in someone who does the same job as you but on a different shift and a ship.....hence it got used as meaning a mate.

How does everyone feel about my making a metagame argument? I have what I think is a respectable reason to lynch a certain player, but it is solely based on past games, and I feel uncomfortable bringing it up out of the blue so I wanted to bounce it off people first. Any thoughts?

well sirayn, this game turns out pretty metagame no matter what any of us do. but basing things on past games seems sort of nebulous, unless i'm missing something.

Just to make this absolutely clear, Tessa, you're revealing as seer? If so, I advise we wait a few hours to see if anyone wants to counter-claim. If we get two seer claimants we have a number of options available to us and I'll list those when we get there so nobody gets to prepare in advance.

 

Alys - can you clarify what you mean by "played off of"? I realise this is a risky style of play, but I wanted to contribute my thoughts and possible strategies to consider, and I'm willing to take the risk of being killed at night. That's why I called out to the guardian just before we went to night yesterday. I've no idea if the guardian healed me, but I'm thinking that the threat may have warned off the vampires, unless the metagame argument I'm thinking of making was in play and they really just wanted Nevare. If you've got something in particular you think I should watch out for, by all means, fire away. :)
