the sun creeped over the horizon, and, for the first time since this all started, not a single body was found. Was this the end? The townspeople thought as they gathered in the square. But it wasnt, for a killer lurked amongst them.

It was time for this to end, the townspeoples decision today would decide the fate of Tarsum.

Day has begun. With 3 alive, you need two to lynch.

No deadline.

Nice one healer (I take it it's you Alanna, as I'm not, and I hardly believe North would be a healer and a watcher)! I think we can now pretty safely lynch North, as I don't really buy his arguments. Ofc. many of the NKs have shown the possibility of serialkiller (the inquisitor has killed people during nights, the same one as in the beginning message, and I'm quite sure he isn't mafia, alas he kills chaos), but still I have hard time believing North. I just think he is a mafia/SK/something and wanted to mislead us, so he could win the last night, but luckily our healer saved us :)

Vote North

I am not the Whatever-it-is that's got the nightkill phase.

I honestly made a mistake by assuming that there was only mafia remaining. Although normally I would just allow myself to be lynched as punishment for jumping to conclusions, this is the last chance to catch the last scum. I am the investigator, and so a town, so if I am lynched scum wins. The only problem is this: who is healer, and who is Serial Killer/Hidden mafia. Unless the healer can protect himself, they protected me, since there are two town and one other.

Also, it seems a little off that in one sentence you acknowledge my investigator role, and then in the next claim I'm scum. If you think about it, the only two town roles left that haven't been killed are the investigator and the healer, meaning it just isn't possible to not have a role and still be town.

However, despite my suspicions of both of you, I think I'll postpone voting for now, since there's no deadline, and I'd hate to accidentally lynch another town and lose the game.

I didn't acknowledge your role (or at least that wasn't what I meant). But this has been a bit odd game, as it's not quite basic (or so I've been told) that basic mafia has a SK/other neutral, so maybe we don't have an investigator. It's puzzling me, but this seems quite an odd game overall..

One thing I thought: I know I'm not a healer, so maybe this game doesn't have an healer, but instead nightkills have inbuilt success ratio? So it would be like 75% of NKs success? Because take a look: each night we have had only one kill (excluding the last), though we supposedly have a mafia AND a SK or such. So we should have had ridiculously lucky healer.

So either North is lying and he is the last non-town (I think this seems pretty likely), or then he is speaking the truth and Alanna is the last non-town (could be possible) (or then you can choose not to believe me and think I'm the last non-town (though I know I'm not a scum)).

I'm the healer, and I protected myself, thank god.

I need to think about this some more before I vote anybody.

:D Well I'm waiting for North to vote me, as I don't see any good enough reasons to change my vote against Alanna, and I highly doubt North would vote himself, nor would he vote Alanna as it wouldn't help anything, and why wouldn't he want to lynch me? ;)

Well, no sense continuing in this manner.

Due to the fact that there isn't likely to be any new information, and even if there was, I couldn't trust it, Vote Killuliu.

It was dark in the city of Tarsum. Too dark, perhaps. Every light in the city, from the Munitorum factories to the hab-blocks, had been turned off, shrouding the area in blackness. Why, you ask? Because most were dead. The survivors of the horrible events over the last few days were staying close together for mutual protection, glaring suspiciously at each other.

Everyone, from the local Imperial Guardsmen to the hard-labouring Munitorum factory workers, was gathered here, and suspense and tension hang in the air as Urmor took the stage on the plinth. Nearly a week ago, Urmor had started this, and today he would finish it, by personally executing the last of the Chaos scum.

Hefting his power sword and plasma pistol, the weapons that had caused so much suffering the past week, he began, "People of Tarsum! It has been a long and hard road to this moment. Soon, the last of the scum will be rooted out, and Chaos will be gone from this place." The people cheered halfheartedly; it was difficult to be happy when most of your friends and family had been brutally murdered by mobs of righteous vigilantees.

Vardik Sallum sensed the sadness and anger in the very souls around him, his psychic soul-vision seeing more than his now-blind eyes ever could. Ever since he was a child he had dealt with suffering; from being wrenched away from his parents and turned into a weapon of war by the Imperium to the fire and lightning he had called to slay the many enemies of the God-Emperor. He still saw the faces of those that he had just mind-seared; frozen in shock as they died. He saw the death and the destruction, the earth being torn asunder around him. Thank the Emperore that his powers had waned in time. Now he was just the village healer. At last he was at peace. Or he had been, until this unpleasantness had occured.

Ararn Sankir also surveyed the surrounding mob, furious that this had happened. He was angry that Chaos had reared its ugly head here, of all places. He was angry at Urmor for starting this hunt. But none of this anger was ever shown, not a single bit of it penetrated his grim demaneur. If only Urmor had listened to him at the start, and done proper investigations inot the people who were to be killed instead of just murdering anyone who whispered of suspicion. Because of him, many had died that had not needed to. Now, at least, it was time for him to pay.

"Now," the murderous Inquisitor continued, "Bring forth the accussed!"

Ararn Sankr and Vardik Sallum advanced out of the crowd, flanking him. "The accussed," Ararn stated, "Is already here." Urmor's nostrils flared in rage and his eyes grew dark and menacing. "You dare accuse ME of taint? After all that has happened?"

Ararn nearly lost his temper in that moment. "All that I have seen you do is incite hate and fear, murdering innocents and getting even more killed with your vitriol! You are not an Inquisitor, you are nothing but a rabblerousing murderor!" The crowd gasped, confused and shocked at what was happening. NO-ONE talked like that to an Inquisitor!

Urmor roared, and fired his pistol at Ararn. Just before the searing bolt of light hit him, though, a shimmering shield of warp-energy appeared, and the bolt splashed harmlessly agaisnt it. Vardik Sallum held the shield for a few moments and let it dissipate, smiling at the look of rage on the Inquisitor's face. He had likely never been opposede by Imperial citizens like this before in his life.

"Die, Chaos FILTH!" Urmor cried, discarding his pistol and leaping at Ararn with his sword raised. People gasped, positive that they were about to see their Commissar die, but there was a clang of metal and a fizzle of sparks as Ararn's power sword blocked Urmor's downward swing with perfect precision. Snarling in rage, Urmor began slashing wildly at Ararn, but each stroke was blocked with utter calm and peace, as if the Commissar had all the time in the world.

Ararn counterattacked, stabbing at Urmor. Urmor was too fast, though, and he sidestepped to avoid the blow, sending another flurry of slashes and stabs at Ararn. The Commissar deflected them all, parrying and riposting with skill and precision. Urmor grew angrier and feinted to the left, before striking the right like lightning. This caught Ararn off guard, and a stain of charred ski appeared on his left arm.

Crying out in pain, Ararn sank to the ground, and Urmor turned to kill Vardik while the Commissar was incapactiated. Smashing throuhg every shield in his way, Urmor prepared to behead the ancient psyker. Suddenly Urmor roared in pain and an electrified blade appeared in his shoulder, thrown by Ararn. Overcoming the pain, the Inquisitor turned and raised his sword for the finishing blow on the still-agoinsed Commissar.

Vardik saw his friend about to die, and, for the first time in decades, summoned up powers he thought were lost.

The stage was covered in a bright blue light, and Urmor was outlined in stark brightness, a dark silnouette agaisnt the power. turning in shock, Urmor saw the psyker glowing with an intense light. Eyes widening in fear, Urmor cried "No!" as the evergy inside the psyker was cast at him in a brilliant blue bolt.

At last, Urmor felt what his victims felt as they saw his plasma bolts screaming towards them.

With a sound like thunder, Urmor Garbium dissapeared, and the light faded. Tarsum would never again be under threat from chaos, or the Inquisition, again. It was over.

Killuliu, Serial Killer (Crazed Inquisitor) has been lynched!

The Town is victorius!

The thread is now open for all players dead and alive to discuss the game, their mistakes, their favourite bits and whatever.

Wooo hoooo! Go Town! We are victorious. Well done North and Alanna - you really saved our bacon.

Kill ... I can't believe you serial killed me? After all we'd been through :-( I'm glad you're dead pmsl.

By the way Hoofie , genius twist to the game. That makes a lot of things make sense.

EPIC! :D

I'm sorry :( In fact, I had the habit of submitting my NKs as soon as I saw the day changing to night, and the night I killed you, I wish I hadn't done so. In the end of that night, had I then submitted the kill, I would have chosen someone else.

But this was extremely entertaining game! The healer was extremely lucky, we didn't see double kills any single night! And I was so darn close to winning, even though Hoof said in my role message that I have no chance of winning, so prepare to die soon :D And after few nights we laughed together for no-one had any idea that I even existed (even though I had even hinted it!) :D

Thank you everyone! :)

I had been thinking that we should just kill the inquisitor because he seemed a total Richard, but didn't think it was possible because I thought he was Hoofie. I thought his kills were random night kills, but then couldn't figure out why he killed me, as surely I was a normal nightkill. I guess we didn't find you because we were not expecting too. We did really well at locating the normal scum though. Excellent work Alanna with your Healing powers. Were you sided with the Scum then? Did you kill Locke because of my suspicions? I thought he was a Mod Kill too. Aaargh! Its all so confusing. Great game though.

I was neutral, so my win condition was to be the last man standing :D I did kill Locke because I felt like killing him, I think I felt he might be a slight threat, but I think I didn't have any great reasons at killing anyone..

My targets:

1. Tiinker

2. Locke

3. Ithi (Alanna protected?)

4. Ithi

5. Alanna (protected herself))

Speaking as Mafia, I want to say that Mav's inactivity harmed us a bit.

Night 1 we set to NK MCS/alanna. That's what we submitted, yet MCS/Alanna survived.(Tiink died instead)

Night 2 we targeted Ithi. Yet she survived.

then, as soon as Locke was gone, Mav dropped off the map, and we were told we'd have a random target.

If you're ever Mafia, remember: INACTIVITY KILLS.

Wow, I am awesome :D I protected myself Night 1. The only reason I protected Ithi Nights 2&3 was because I thought she might be a finder (it was something she said...can't remember now LOL). So I guess I blocked the mafia kills first two nights.

Then, I think I protected myself. And the last night, I protected myself, I agonized over that decision for a bit. I kept thinking, if North was scum, who would he kill...if kill is scum, who would he kill...the fact that I don't know either of them that well didn't help LOL.

And then, honestly, in deciding who to vote the last day...I flipped a coin :D
