Well, for the sake of majority, and since the deadline is not getting any further, I'm going to VOTE CSARMI.

It's nothing personal. I just don't want a random lynch is all, and you happen to be at L-1.

I'm not at L-1. I have three votes right now.

Okay, so I do need to come up with some defense afterall.

You have several good reasons not to lynch me (assuming you're town):

1) If I'm scum, it is not necessary to lynch me. I look like a noob and that's just what I am. Whatever I'm working at, I won't be able to keep it up for long. Playing this kind of tactics is very hard and I'm sure I do not apply. I'm speaking a lot so you WILL catch me, not to mention that the detective can just view me.

2) If I'm town, I just got the Mafia's attention. Which isn't a bad thing. If I happen to be in danger of a nightkill, shouldn't a doctor be able to save me? It's a std game, whatever that means, but it should include a doctor, is it not? Since there is no one else needs protecting right now, it's not like this supposed doctor has anything to lose by trying me.

Not to mention the fact that if I'm simple townfolk, the Mafia killing me, instead of the detective, or say, the doctor, is actually GOOD for the town.

3) If I have an important role (which some people suggest), then killing me is a big mistake. Even if I'm a stupid cop, doctor, whatever, it's better to have one, than do without.

I suggest we lynch someone else. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea who the target should be. All I know is it shouldn't be random and we HAVE to hope we aren't killing a doc/cop...

I'm pretty bad at figuring out who is acting scummy, I'm not too much of a noob for that, sorry.

I think I need to address some point here, one by one.

Why would someone point out their newness to the game when almost everyone here is new?? And discussing that rather than trying to hunt out the bad guys seems a little off to me. Not enough to move in against him, but it's worth looking at.

Just to have some discussion. was anything else being discussed? No. People lie low. Nothing was happening. Nothing IS happening.

How are we supposed to find the Maffia? By having conversation. Any kind will do, in my opinion. Any kind of conversation is better than none. Did you find something better to discuss? Any hint on who is acting strangely? I didn't. If YOU did, you did not point it out. 8I dide address the rest of your post previously, and I agree with your 90%, just felt like I needed to point this out).

Csarmi, you are not only getting defensive, but also ganging up on those who haven't posted way early in the game. Not only that but I find it extremely suspicious of you to claim you have a role that needs to be protected. If you are being truthful then you now have all mafia eyes on you for a night kill. If you are lying then you now have innocents seeking to protect scum which is a win for you.

Again, I didn't claim to have an important role. Yes I did overlook that the Mafia's eyes would be on me (or underestimated the risk of it). I'm quite new, and didn't think far enough. But, thinking about it, I don't find that such a big deal. Even if I do get NK'd, you gained a lot of information, plus since there is no one else in the spotlight, I'm too obvious of a target to protect, so would the Mafia risk trying me? And if I don't have a role afterall, I died for a good cause.

CS has been talking quite a bit. One of the classic means of distracting a group is to point them where you want them while professing your own innocence.

Yea but my point is that I did not distract the group. The group hadn't got its attention anywhere. Nothing was happening. Actually, post count is very low. I doubt we would even have a conversation without all those posts I made. And who gains by conversation? TOWN

I have gone through this tread again and this time I noticed some things that I missed before. I have a question for Csarmi. Why did you think it was important to let people know you have an important role? Were you thinking that you were in danger of being lynched?

Good question. And in doing so, has made himself a potential target for the mafia.

I might have made a mistake by talking too much, I admit. Thought I'm not afraid of being NK'd. I'm more afraid of having no conversation, finding no information, killing someone blindly, killing the cop or doctor blindly, or just having a comnpletely random mod lynch. I'm afraid of all that.

That, and now I'm afraid of being lynched too.

With all that said, I also have a slight problem with Phelix's last post. I mean, giving the second vote on me without further explanation then claiming he won't be back before the deadline is not something I like, as it ensures at least one player won't be voting someone else (plus I feel I wasn't given a chance to defend myself).

Still, I think I'm gonna go and VOTE MCS.

Not only does he put me under the train (3rd vote is scary), but he has been keeping way too silent and doing this giving an obviously false reason (I'm not at L-1).

As I DO have to vote someone, I pick him. I'm not comfortable with my choice and I can be convinced to pick someone else. Even by MCS himself.

I'll be checking in on the topic for twoor three more hours.

PLEASE DONT LYNCH ME.

Is not lynching scum the point of the game? Even a noob should know that? :)

The point of the game is to lynch ALL the mafia members. If I'm one, the rest are hiding very well, and you won't get much information of lynching me (and lose a player who talks a lot, I say again, talking = good for town). If I'm town, however, worse, a town with a role, you're making a huge mistake.

Let me reformulate then. By lynching me, you would cause the town a lot of damage. If that's a threat, so be it. We can die anytime, any of us. We're walking under a death warrant all of us and two people will die every 24h ingame hours, can I be more threatening than that?

I'm not gonna vote for you just yet and neither am I siding with you, but you seem to be keeping on repeating yourself. First all I have an important role (unless I'm mistaken on that one), then you give a whole lot of theories on what you could be to cover up and now you're on about being important again?

So as this was the latest I could stay up.

As others already pointed out, I'm kind of exposed already. It might be better to wait an hour or two more, but I may not.

So there you go.

I'm the Cop and doing quite a bad job of it so far, talking too much and all that. I REALLY didn't think I'd become so obviously targeted. My bad. Been 7 years I last played and that was offline too.

The only reason I'm exposing myself is that I don't want a random lynch and I don't want to get lynched either.

This way, I might just prevent being killed in the day. As for the night, I have no illusions, but it's still better for town, if I die some night, then die at DAY and some more innocent die at night too.

I ask the doctor to roll the dice, and protect me with 2/3 chance (if he believes me, that is). In the night, I mean. Or make that 100% if you guys insist. I won't be here to talk on that more.

I also hope I wont get lynched, but if i do, well, I have dug my own grave. Next time, I'll be silent.

Also, I UNVOTE and VOTE PHELIX. Him tossing me in front of the train and all that is much more suspicious to me, then MCS's 3rd vote, though I might be wrong.

I have already done some voting since it has been the swedish part of Eurovision Song Contest tonight.

Now it is long past my bedtime so I guess I´ve to vote here too since the ending of day one is near. Is Csarmi just a newbie who does everything wrong or is he lieing? I haven´t made up my mind. He seems scummy but since he claims to be the cop I won´t vote him tonight. MCS, Tanaus and Phelix has voted Csarmi and haven´t changed their votes although Csarmi has declared him cop. Scummy... Who should I pick? Well since my vote already is on MCS I just leave it that way.

My intent wasn't to create a bandwagon, but I can see how that would happen. I was planning on getting enough sleep today. I did put up a post several hours before (during the Day for timezones much earlier than mine, or late evening for those later than me) working through my thoughts and asking for other people's opinions, saying that I'd be coming back to vote by morning. Then I did so.

I do think CS is giving off a very strong Scum vibe, and my original thoughts about him stand. That's just why I've come to my conclusion, and I don't expect anyone else to follow my same route.

(Also, I must be tense about the game... I woke up half an hour before my alarm, saw the time and got online to see if we had a result yet.)

OK... here's what I've been thinking of. CS, your post means one of two things - and I mean no offense by it, its just how it goes -

1) You're not doing a very good job playing, or playing your role. However, now that you're out of the closet, your information could be very useful.

2) You are an amazing mafia player, trying to dig up the real cop and sacrificing yourself in the process.

So here's my suggestion. If there is another claiming Cop, please be silent. My idea is that CS should be able to prove himself over the night period. Investigate someone tonight, and let us know the results. It may not prove your reveal, but it MAY if you get a good scummy result because we can then lynch and see if you are telling the truth. I am willing to put off my vote on you for now in hopes that you might get a revealing answer.

Mal grabbed Inarra and swung her behind a stack of crates before ducking behind them himself. As he crouched there behind the crates, he heard Inarra let out a soft cry. Turning, he saw that her chest was bubbling with blood. A punctured lung. "No", he said softly. Inarra gave him soft smile and let out her final breath. A tear fell from Mal's eye before he turned with a grim expression and emptied his revolver at the intruder's on his ship.

So Tina, you think its scummy to vote for the cop. Personally i think he is lying, he is only claiming hes the cop in hopes that the doctor will fall for it and give him protection, and having at least one other scum vote on him to put the pressure of "oh no's! we gonna lose the cop!" he could also be trying to lure out the real cop. And also for some one who is a newb, you sure do like to drop info about the game... perhaps there are ppl helping you....

This is Getting Very interesting. First I Think it's suspicous that he claims to be the cop, but in reality I thought its better that no one knew who the cop or mafia was. Its also suspicous that he's talking way too much and saying that hes a townie. That would just bring the mafia down on him and probaly lynch him. What drives me to the breaking point when he just abruptley started blaming phelix for throwing him underneith the train. It was only one vote after all. Hmm a lot to think and ponder over, dont you think?

I mostly agree with you Reyn - that he should investigate someone and then let us know the results tonight, although I'm hesitant a bit because it'll leave that person exposed for the mafia.

For some reason, I thought we were not supposed to speak during the night.

I revealed myself only because I was scared I'd get lynched. Still, I can't see why that'd be such a bad thing, the doctor can keep me alive, as long as he lives - and he can't have died yet.
