Mynd, I'm not cool with you suggesting power targets based on some "plan" that you won't reveal. I get that you might not be able to identify the plan in its entirety due to what is involved, but can you give more info?

Also, realize that you have a very short leash with this stuff. If you pinpoint who you think is a good lynch, and it's not, the town will likely turn on you...and quickly.

Verbal, how many games have you played with me? If you are town, you have nothing to worry about! The mafia's fate is sealed!

Heh, probably upwards of a hundred by now! And that's what worries me. You're easily capable of false claiming a huge trail to lead the town astray. I'm just playing a bit of devil's advocate for you - I read you as town, but that doesn't mean my radar isn't broken. ;-)

I read in the last death scene that "As long as the seals are safe, we are safe." or something to that effect. I hope they are safe. We've come a long way to have those seals broken in any way.

Speaking of radars not being broken, how about your casing? Usually about this point in a game, even one this big, we start to get the Verbal casing case file from you. What are your thoughts on the remaining players? Should we trust this so-called Mason team? Quibby? Drew? Kwom?

....and I am surprised you haven't jumped in on those few that have so easily agreed with me. You are either playing half-arsed or you are not playing like the townie-verb I know.

I'll tip this much of my hand. The reason I suggested Drew was because, according to him, he claims to be a miller. Should everything go swimmingly, you would either get another innocent reading or you would get a scum reading this time. Make sense?

I guess you could say I'm playing cautiously - with this many new players all in one game, I don't want to make casing mistakes. And besides, casing is usually part logic, part gut feeling, with a dash of meta. I have no gut or meta on many of these players, and the actives ones are good players who are posting somewhat logical.

I've got some suspicions, specifically with Drew, but his miller reveal was either pure genius, or the sign of a townie. I'm leaning genius on the reveal, actually, and that's why I have suspicions.

As for the mason team, my first thought was a Black Ajah heart. Just sayin'.

What's bugging me still about Drew are two things. 1)his reaction to my quasi-powerblock gambit, I hadn't even brought it up and he flew off the handle, accusing me of setting him up. 2)the miller claim, why make such a claim if there is a naive finder?

Again, if everything works out smoothly, we will have a very reasonable lynch target.....besides Drew.

Well we'll see if this works, I guess. I understand a Miller claim is suspicious, and when I got this role, I thought shit, I'm doomed, someone's going to view me at some point and I'll get lynched. So I stayed sort of quiet early on, but as the game progressed and I got more into it, I decided to just let it fly and see what happened. When Aemon viewed me as innocent, I knew he was a naive finder (or being manipulated, but I didn't think of that then), and I knew I should share that info with the town. That's basically all there is to it.

Verbs, tell me, because I've thought hard about this: if I were scum, why would I make a Miller reveal? Before I did it I thought, could this incriminate me in any way? And I couldn't imagine how it would have, but maybe you and Mynd are seeing something I'm not.

Actually Mynd, That last time didn't look like he was flying off the handle. I could actually see where he was coming from. But he seemed okay with it afterwards.

Verb I agree it could a great Mafia move, but I'm erring on town for the moment.

Also Verb, is that the first thing you think of when thinking of a group from Randland considering the different races and stuff there...*shakes her head*

Is everyone else taking note of Talya defending Drew here? He very much did fly off the handle. I wonder what has Talya leaping to Drew's defense all of a sudden. Should be a very interesting morning, let's hope things go as planned.

I'm not sure what your plan is here, but why do I have a feeling you're gunning for me again...another frame job?

sound almost resigning not flying off the handle about it all. you see stuff where there is none! Oh and of course if he turns up scum then I must be too, despite everything rolleyes.gif

Mynd, I've been operating on the assumption that you're town for a few rl days now, but one of the main reasons I thought you might be scum to begin with was because of how you mis-characterize people's actions. I didn't fly off the handle either time, and Talya isn't leaping at all. You're the one who's flying off the handle, really, and it looks scummy. And this isn't an OMGUS, I'm just saying that if you're town, you're making yourself look scummy when everyone sees you mis-characterize our actions.

*Prepares for Mynd to tell him he's violently freaking out and must be scum*

Your initial reaction was much different. You were freaking out then and in your own Curtdragon way, you are still thinking that this whole gambit I am up to is about you. It's not. There is someone else that, if things work out the way I think, will be our best target for tomorrow.

Aren't you supposed to be a Mason?

The man ran from Ba'alzamon, dodging fireballs. He never should have left Tear and certainly never should have claimed to be the Dragon Reborn. He looked back over his shoulder and tripped over a tree root. His head hit the ground, knocking him unconscious. He never came to.

As dawn breaks, a body is found on the edge of camp. It is the body of a man. His head is bruised and his throat slit. None of you know the man other than that he had claimed to be the Dragon Reborn.

Aemon, Unnamed Tairen False Dragon, Naïve Cop, has been nightkilled.

It is now Day 9. You have until Wednesday at 11:00 AM ET to lynch someone. With 18 alive, it takes 10 to lynch.

Also, I would like Virtuhall to check in.
