That's interesting, because Cults are usually not aligned with the town. The fact that you said this makes me think you are telling the truth. Meh, looks like we'll find out soon enough.

Sorry guys, I spent the weekend with my....umm....baby's daddy  I was away from the computer the whole time. So what Limi is saying is that she was the only cult memeber? I didn't quite think cult leaders were considered town so I'm wondering if she's telling the truth about being the only one.

My role doesn't state that I am town, it states that I am an Innocent. Meaning it will negatively affect the main character.

Also - I am not revealing because I want to save myself, but so you guys have all the info I did.

I have a feeling this is a very very complex game, and for T & M to start off an innocent cult with more than one member when there may be a neutral one, or a what ever the scum are one, wouldn't make sense.

However - Believe what you will.

Dallar leaned against the middle and most massive mast of the ship. The challan in his hand felt empty and it took him taking another drink before realizing that it was. That was fine. He had filled himself up enough for one of those humped horses – whatever the Vadapakans called them.

“Is this how you honor the memories of the fallen, Dallar?”

Dallar smirked. “Menden. Just the man I was looking for.”

“Oh?”

“Oh yes. Because once found, they can be avoided.”

“What are you doing here, Dallar?”

The question took him aback. “What you mean?”

“Why did you join Anamira on her quest?”

“What difference does it make?”

“It makes all the difference, Dallar.” Menden’s solemn voice drew Dallar to look at him.

“And why did you come along? You want to die?”

Menden smiled. “Death awaits us all. But what man truly seeks him out?”

“I do.”

It was Menden’s turn to be surprised.

“Don’t you worry your Weaver head about it. I will survive this journey.” Dallar turned his back on his old friend and began to walk away.

Menden was not about to be brushed off so easily. “How can you be sure?”

“Because,” Dallar answered over his shoulder. “Life is my punishment. Death would be a relief, and is forbidden me.”

“So you see life as a burden, and thus a means of redemption.”

Dallar stopped at the door to his room. Turning he bore his crimson eyes into the eyes of Menden. “Redemption? There is no redemption.”

“Then why are you still fighting?”

“Because it doesn’t matter anymore.”

Menden shook his head. “No. That’s not true, and you know it. And this crew knows it. That is why they follow you.”

“I’m not a leader. I never was. Vidan was the leader. And then he ran off to become the King. And look what that got him. An early grave.”

“You’re better than this, Dallar. You are a leader. It is your purpose.”

Dallar opened the door and walked in. “I have no purpose.”

“That young man who died last night idolized you. He saw your purpose, even if you will not.” Menden’s smiles were long faded.

“Aseen was a foolish boy who would have never accepted the cold truths of the world. His death was a mercy.”

“Aseen? You don’t even remember his name?” Menden’s face was full of pity.

Dallar closed the door.

Sorine Cucil found herself on the third deck. Alone with the scurrying Asteri. She paid them no mind, her thoughts focused inward. Menden Atal’s words had shaken her. He had taken up the dance of words with a Purveyor, and…prevailed. She had never been the ideal Adherent of Saevor. She found questioning the facts to be a kind of calling for her. She had been punished for those questions more than once.

But she had not known the questions to ask, she realized. Menden Atal had. She wished to speak with him some more. She was only half aware of herself leaning on the railing. There was a crack that woke her to the present. Then the railing was no longer supporting her. Ado pushed her toward Agrime. She was paying the price of not accepting the Gods and their prophets teachings.

Suddenly an arm gripped her and she was once again on the deck. Asteri crowded her, but it was not one of them who had saved her. She looked down to see that she was lying atop a handsome man with deep blue eyes. Before she could react, he gently rolled her on her back and propped himself on his knees beside her, looking into her face with…concern? She was unsure. A shadow seemed to flicker behind his eyes. They seemed cold and lifeless. Then the shadow passed and she had to wonder if it had been there at all.

“Are you alright? Is anything damaged?”

“My pride only.” She replied uncertainly. Who was this savior? Where did he come from? She had thought herself the only human up there.

“Really? I did not know women had pride.” She eyed him curiously. He smiled. “At least, that’s what my mother always said.” His voice took on a high pitched mock imitation of his mothers. “‘Man has pride, Woman has sense.’”

Despite herself she laughed. “Sometimes we have a little bit of both.”

“Does that mean men can have some sense, occasionally?”

She smiled secretly. “Perhaps.” Three above what was wrong with her? She was behaving like a girl.

The unknown rescuer seemed to realize that they were not in the best of positions to continue conversation. Holding out a hand, he helped her to her feet.

“What is your name?” she asked, gulping down the frog in her throat.

“Teral. It was nice to save your life this sunlow.” He cocked her a crooked grin.

“Sorine. And it was nice to be saved by you.” She turned away lest he see her blush. “Let’s not do it again.”

“Ah.” His reply came back surprisingly serious. “That would all depend on you, Miss Sorine.”

She refused to turn back to him. She forced herself to continue down to the first deck and to her own rooms.

Okay, so Limi, are you unlynchable? Or does this have anything to do with the "protection" from FD?

Did we miss the deadline?

FD- Do you have anything to say about this?

Posted

Interesting, I'm assuming you weren't lynched because FD was "protecting" you but we all know what assuming does. My question is if he's still your protector and how much of a danger you are as cult leader.... Don't really have much to go on from today other than FD's incessant scummy behavior; are you both innocent? Or one guilty? Food for thought... Hopefully the week days bring more discussion back.

I would like to hear from FD as well blink.gif

And I'm off work for 4 days biggrin.gif

I have no idea as to his alignment since we aren't allowed to communicate..

I see. That complicates things for you, but simplifies it for the rest of us. If true, this means that FD is bound by what is said here, and held accountable for it.

However, we might want to hold off on too much discussion on this topic until night phase is over....unless there is something the town needs to know just in case.

Sorry Limi, I didn't mean your reveal....that was still day phase. I meant now, during night phase. Not usually a good time to reveal that you have solid info - makes you a NK target for opportunistic scum who haven't sent in a NK yet.

Posted

Just an idea: who says limi isn't scum and has let herself be almost-lynched to make her unvulnerable?

Not saying she is. I just don't see why we would trust limi more than anyone else

I have not gone quiet intentionally, which is what "has gone quiet" implies.

A tragedy has transpired in my family. No one died, but it's a big deal that I don't want to get into.

My activity will be slightly lacking for while compared to my previous record before my recent inactivity.

FD's incessant scummy behavior

I'll bite. Wanna go into a bit more detail, like how I was acting scummy? I'm sure I was, but if you're just going to throw a blanket statement like that then I really don't see this going anywhere productive.

Subtle.

And true enough. She has not been confirmed innocent by her non lynch.

Locke, Alanna, Tigraine.

Just took a quick glance at the opening post, and you three have not been the most active...

And...

Good to see you're all still folowing the game . If only you didn't all three reply within 4 hours... Maybe something could've been made from it that way :darkone:

well i for one have lots of questions concerning this Limi/FD thing goign on.

i'll ask them now, so i don't forget them; but you two can wait until morning to answer them if you wish. i'm also not a fan of revealing info during the night.

1. Limi, whats your win condition?

2. FD, care to enlighten us on this whole protecting thing? like, is the protection still holding or can you change it every day/night? why woudl it result in your death if Limi had been lynched? will thi happen if the perosn your protecting is NKd? did this provent her lynch? why did you chose to protect Limi when we all think she's scum?

like i said, you guys can wait till morning to answer these.

i'm still suspicious of both Limi & FD. FD totally ignored the fact stated by Limi, i can sort of understand this as it's now night, but it also seems like glossing things over imo. & Limi's claim of "innocent cult leader" doesn't sit well with me because of the nature of a cult.

just becuase your death effects the Dallar negatively, doesn't mean your not a threat to the town.
