Where do I have to go to get the illistraited covers?

I'm kinda new to WoT fandom, having only been reading the series for just over 3 years and since then I have brought nearly all my books 2nd hand and have a mismatched set containing the illistraited covers and the "new" great serpent/wheel covers.

I know, from reading other posts and looking at different review sites that you can get copies of every book with the illistraited covers but I was just wondering from where?

I live in New Zeland and all the bookstores I have been into (which is most of the big chains and quite a few private ones around the top of the SI and lower NI), but all I can seem to find is the symbol covers.

Do I have to order online from the US to get the illistraited versions or what?

Yes, you'll have to order those from the US. For whatever reason, Orbit stopped using the Darryl Sweet covers years ago.

As I have absolutely no clue on what sites to use, Amazon being the only one I have heard about that does international delivery, could anyone supply different alternitives?

Amazon should do it. You may want to check Barnes & Noble.com to see if they ship overseas. Or RandSC might ship you his, since he seems to take so little pleasure in owning them.

Bookdepository.com would probably be a cheaper option for you, they offer free delivery to most countries in the world, including New Zealand.

 

Just be careful to order the Tor editions, not those of Orbit, they sell both.

 

Personally I much prefer the stylish Orbit covers to Sweet's monstrosities, but to each his own. ;)

Oh dont get me wrong, I think the artwork is attocious, but out of the 14 books so far (including NS) i have 9 which have Sweet's covers and 5 with the symbol cover, I'm just going for matching sets, it's just something that annoys me to no end when I look at them on my bookshelf.

My plan being, the Sweet covered copies are my everyday, read and do what ever with copies, where as the symbol covered copies will be kept on the bookshelf as a showpeice, along with other WOT stuff I have managed to pick up.

Anyway, enough of my rambling.
