Tinker in Darkfriends meet

Hey was listening to The Great Hunt in my car, not reading it I swear, and the prologue had something.

Bors noticed a tinker at the place. Has this ever came up? The others darkfriends like weiramon and others have shown up. Who is the tinker and is it relevant at all?

Also there was a sea folk bloke also.

I don't think we've met either of these people yet, at least where they could be identified. So far their mention serves the purpose to show that DF's come from societies spanning the entire Westlands.

I thought that the Tinker could've been Aram, tasked with killing Perrin?

I thought it was Aram all the time, but when he died he died as someone fighting for the Light, but corrupted by Masema. Aram was no DF.

The Shienaran is for sure Ingtar.

One of the Aes Sedia is for sure Liandrin.

Bors is Jaichim Carridin.

 

The rest (for up through Gathering Storm) is anybody's guess.

And yeah,I thought Tinker=Aram was one of the popular fandom beliefs that RJ actually outright dismissed (the way he did ''Taim is NOT Demandred) but I may well be misremembering.

 

You know, by the end of his life, Aram might not have been a card-carrying DF, but he was definitely in a daaaaark place, spiritually-speaking.
