Book day temptations

So it is 8:25 am my time.

I have been at work for about 20 minutes.

My wife calls me and tells me the book is at home now.

 

Is it too early too call in sick to go get it? :)

Nope! I feel your pain I have to wait until 4pm to go get my copy. :(

So this is what you do...

 

Begin to pant a little bit, say you feel a little hot. Make a slight groaning noise. Nothing too obvious at first. Make the odd comment that you stomach is feeling a bit odd. Continue to work! Then, when no one is in the toilet you make a quick dash for it, then surface about 10mins later saying that you have a really bad stomach and don't feel well. For effect you can make another dash for the loo, resurfacing. By then people will be telling you to go home as you aren't well. So off you go home to lie down and keep yourself warm...with a good book!!!!!

Yea... calling in sick is a lot better than what I was going to do. If I fake crazy or get shot I can go home and get my book Yea...I won't get to read it untill the new year. Serious Bummer.

 

For real though, the last time I faked sick, I actually got sick later that night. Karma anyone? I don't really believe in that stuff too much, but yea...I was not a happy camper. Enjoy the read.

Getting mine after classes at about 5. Hoping the local Barnes and Noble will have it in stock still! (They usually do). Then off to work & start reading it when I get home (about about 3 hours of work) lol.

I spent about a month there actually. Durring the elections when we were all getting f'ed up. I'm in the east now though.

Make it to chapter 5 last night after work. Stayed up till 2 reading and then had to get up at 6 for my Bio lab....Not the best idea lmao.
