I have always called it symp as well.

The difference is that the Traitor has the option of switching to the mafia fully at any time, I believe.

The one time I was a symp, I just got to help us win. :D

I think in DPR's huge Call-your-shot game, that role was in there, and everyone was speculating on that.

I have never seen it personally, just the name...I didn't read the endgame post with role descriptions...>.<

I am so nervous for Night now...

lol..I am sure I am going to die, but then again, the mafia now has a big ol WIFOM to deal with.

The difficulty with all of this my little Ed is that, by revealing so much of yourself so soon, you are at high risk of being either killed or recruited. In fact it would look odd if something didn't happen, and I've seen you do this before!

 

What this means now is that you are going to have to open each new day with a report for all of us (and I'd like it prompt, please  ;) ), and anyone with a discrepancy in their night actions is going to be faced with the dilemma of revealing to catch you or remaining silent knowing you've reported an inaccuracy. This will quickly become a game of 'know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em... know when to walk away', and.. um.. well you get the idea.  *sings*

 

With Krak, there is a possibility that there was a .. oh what do you call it... I think it is a taxi driver? No? Where someone mixes up who is viewed with what role, as we saw in Alana's Aiel game.

Talya, it is very possible that there WERE no night actions last night. Pete had created a role (in fact, gave it to you in the Mafia Revolution game) where you could fast forward time and end the night early. Since night ended one full day early, I'm guessing that's what went on last night. There may not be a report for Ed to have for last night.

 

Ed, you were kinda correct, there, I guess, but I'm watching you. This doesn't quite all add up for me.

Just so everyone knows...I am jumping on and offline to try and keep some balance in my RL and "work things out"  ;)  I am in no way trying to post and run.

I hadn't thought about the stop watch being used last night. I just thought all the night actions got turned in and day started. That would add a new element to the game. All I know is Pete is good at tweaking roles so you never know what is going on.

 

So, I will cut you some slack Ed. I think there are mafia hiding out and we need more then just a symp.

I hadn't thought about it earlier. I was lucky Krak was who he was. I thought there had been night actions, hence Krak's response at the beginning. Unfortunately we still don't know that for sure, but it would explain why Ed didn't get anything.

 

It would be nice to actually see the Mod in this game, more than the end of day/night bits. It's one of my pet peeves of the game!

It'll be great, everyone dresses up like hillbillies *glares at ed* drive around in these ramshackle cars and there's a carnival and hundreds of vendors. This is the 34th or 35th annual and proceeds go to Shriner's.  Hunders of thousands of people invade our small little city.
