Heroes reborn

Does anyone know if any of the heroes that are bound to the Horn of Valere have been reborn.  Care to venture a guess as to who they are?

 

I'm fairly sure Perrin and Mat are someone reborn.  Opinions?

If Mat and Perrin are Heroes reborn, it cant be anyone we saw come back when the Horn was blown and it cant be any Hero we might meet later in the books. That would require their souls to be in two places at once, it would be like expecting Rand and Lews Therin to be alive at the same time seperately.

Mat and Perrin are (from everything I know) not Heroes of the Horn. Neither was acknowledged by Hawkwing as such at the end of tGH, and one doesn't have to be a hero to be ta'veren. I guess it still is possible unless Jordan has said anything otherwise.

 

Gaidal has been reborn. There's some speculation that Elayne's twins will be Heroes, but that's just speculation.

RJ said one becomes a Hero through acts of sacrifice. I think Mat giving up an eye will qualify for that. The Horn is potentially down a Hero (Birgitte) and Mat would definitely look the part.

the only thing that mentions anything about being a hero/special was when Mat went through the doorway ter angreal in the stone. He was referenced to as the 'Son of Battles'

That just means Mat will be a hero. Not a Hero.

 

The Wheel isn't down a Hero because of Birgitte. Min saw more viewings around her than could be filled in a lifetime so we know she's still bound.

 

I think some Heroes might be spun out after the last book, but it'll happen off screen. Gaidal was spun out because of the upheaval that will occur when Rand does his thing and Birgitte would have been, but that's all happened already. I imagine the pattern will shape itself to adapt to Birgitte's being older this time around.

For sure Gaidal Cain has been spun out. (mentioned in Fires of Heaven)  Though we have not yet seen the reborn on-screen.

Birgitte has been ripped out. (later in that book)

And there is Rand (reborn of Lews Therin); born during time of New Spring.

Other than those, it is anybody's guess of any other Hero being reborn.
