As for the town, I don't know what to say...we delivered a classic spanking to you without losing a man. Then we played roulette, which you won! You had the game in your hands - and let it slide through because of...apathy.

 

Tragic. Good game though - it was fun. Well, except for Nae, heh. But darlin', your just too dangerous to let live.  :-* You know that...

DPR I have to say my first game with you was memorable - I had heard your reputation, and sometimes you hear these reputations of people, and they are inflated... You did not disappoint though! Although I felt a  little like a small mouse being toyed with by a very large cat, it was fun!

 

And lastly to Verbal.. I'm should never have doubted you!!

:)  i'm glad you guys liked the writing; i figured with the lack of roles i needed to make the game interesting from a md POV some how lol.  although seeing DPR, Aemon and Pete in action as Mafia was awesome.  dangerous combo those 3 ;)

 

Jeran - dude i didn't see where you had posted an LOA otherwise i wouldn't have killed you off.  i certaintly didn't want the town to lose their finder, hence the back up.

 

 

you guys were all great on this game :)  it was a pleasure modding with you guys playing and i'm glad ya'll had fun; i just wish you guys wouldn't have picked off pandy so early, i was looking forward to the havoc his role could have caused *grin*  also, i'm gonna re-think the 50% rule on some of the finder for future use.  maybe instead of 50% i'll use a 75% like has been suggested to me before.

 

 

 

oh also, keep your eyes peeled during the 1st or 2nd week of April over at the White Tower Social Group.  i'll be running a 40 player mafia which is Harry Potter themed and i promise it is be chalked full of roles, twists, traps and turns ;)  *snuggles ed*  plus i'll have a great co-mod at my side to help with the evilness

Okay-so Verbal obviously had us (especially me) pegged from the start. But he could never get anyone else on board with a lynch. If we do a day-by-day record of events, you see that we lynched 3 innocents and nightkilled 2, bringing us to night 3 when it was all but over.

Sort of.  I had a couple of people with me, and more once Pete posted the code.  At that point, they were with me for Day 4, which you knew.  It was not "all but over"....it was crunch time.  If I blocked your NK, the town would win (under normal circumstances)....and if I missed, then the mafia won.

 

I blocked you, and had repeatedly stated I KNEW you and Pete were mafia, and either Tigs or Aemon....I had been leaning towards Tigs at first, but then realized it was Aemon due to the Day 3 voting.  You guys revealed at night during night 3, but we had you right when Pete & Aemon wouldn't vote for you on Day 3.

 

But a townie abandoned the game (no other way to really say that), and the mafia won.  Good job to stay hidden enough that I was the only living player to be totally sure.  That is to your credit, and I say well done.

 

BUT......had we had all players participating, it would not have been your night reveal and taunting that made them believe.  I had them firmly with me once we entered Night 3.  I will argue that point until the end of days.  I blocked you, and the town had you in our grasp....barely in time.  A townie not voting is what lost the game for us in the end.  Like I said, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

 

You know this to all be true.  You played a helluva game, and I especially think Aemon did well in sneaking through until his voting pattern gave him up.  But your insinuation that you handed the game to us and we fumbled it is wrong.  You resorted to taunting when you knew it made no difference, and you know it.  :-*

Let's say that we played a close game (as opposed to the loud and obnoxious spectacle that we chose instead...heh) and that I did not taunt you or reveal myself. I was ready to argue that you were mafia the next day, and I had some decently compelling stuff to go on. Plus, no one ever figured out my code, but I was ready to loop back and bring that into play. (the first number is the page, the second nmber is the post on the page, and all of the rest of the numbers correspond to the words in that post. 8) )

 

I already deleted my QT link, but you should get it from Red so that you can see what we were planning so you can see what I'm talking about.

And also, for the newer folks, Verb and I are not fighting! I'd hate for anyone to ever get that impression. It's just passion for the game, and for a few poor, twisted souls, we take it a bit more seriously than most other people.
