People Randomly Die - Dead Thread

This is a new game inspired by my niece (though she doesn't know that :P).

There really is no limit to the amount of players, but 10 to 20 would be nice.

 

The rules are simple, and I am sure everyone has played something like it before. ;)

 

Rules

• Everyone has to post at least twice per round (A round will last until someone dies, then the next round automatically begins).
  
• No double posting (posting right after yourself).
  
• Every N^th post, that poster will die. N will change from round to round.
  
• Whoever lasts the longest wins.
  
• Once you die, you cannot post! Look to see if you have died in the OP.
  

 

The game is pretty much 'Hot Potato" people. You keep posting, and someone will randomly die. You can talk about anything, and speculate on who is going to die. There will be 'Death Scenes', so prepare to die horribly. ;D

Obviously, I will not be able to kill catch everyone on the selected post, so you might not always know if the post you just made will be the one that gets you.

 

You arrived to find some people had already showed up. you didn't know what was going to happen, except you would get paid a lot of money to partake in this study. You wait as everyone arrives, and everyone stands around talking. As the last person arrived, two men shut the door.

Another door opposite of the one you came in opens and a man dressed in a suit and a lab coat walks out carrying a clipboard.

 

"Hello everyone, my name is Edward, and you have all been invited to help me with a study. Please follow me."

 

Everyone start to file through the door, and you find yourself the last to go through. Just before the door shuts, you hear the outer doors locked with a resounding click. The sound doesn't bother you and neither does it catch your interest. Once through the door, you find yourself in a pretty big room with no windows or doors except the on you just came through. There is plenty of furniture and even a television mounted behind a Plexiglas window.

 

"Please, take a seat or stand around the walls. I know you are all wondering exactly what the study consists of. Well, it is simple.

Oh shoot, wait a minute, I seem to have forgotten my glasses.."

 

Edward walks out, but as he does, he shuts the door, and there is an even louder click than the one you heard from the double doors in the lobby. You look around at the other participants and wonder what happened. One guy walks up to the door and tried to open it, it didn't budge an inch. You notice that small vents open immediately. The television came on all of a sudden an Edward showed up on the screen.

 

"I must say, I am sorry for leaving like that, but I had to get out so the poison could begin to flow. As I speak, the poison is entering your body.

But don't worry, not all of you will die. And you won't all die at once. This poison seems to work differently with everyone, and I want to gauge your response times.

Again, thank you for coming, and I will be monitoring you through the cameras."

 

Everyone started to scream and yell, demanding to know what was happening. But you knew, and you wasted no time trying to get the t.v back on.

It can can as fast or as slow as you all want, just give others a chance to post each round before you get the ball rolling.
