anyway, I was wondering if any of u can suggest a new series that I can sink into until we get a due date for the next one, before which i can reread wot series again.

thanks! Im 20 years and at Melbourne [Aus] btw.

Hi Rand, nice name ;)

You might enjoy the Song of Fire & Ice series if you haven't already stumbled upon it or Stephen R. Lawhead's pendragon cycle if you're a fan of arthurian legends.

Hope you enjoy your stay here at DM!

Welcome to DM!

There are several threads on the General Discussions board about new series to read, but I would recommend Fiona MacIntosh. I loved her The Quickening trilogy, and am looking forward to her other books. Maybe check out Kristen Britain's Green Rider series, another good read in my eyes.

Enjoy looking around the site, and don't hesitate to ask questions if you get lost or confused!

Thanks for the welcome guys!  :)

I been spending a good bit of time here in the forums and enjoying it, especially the podcasts. And thanks for the suggestions too. WOT was my first fantasy series, and am looking forward to reading other awsome series though I doubt anything would come anywhere close to WOT.

Ill keep posting here about what Im reading and stuff so i can get opinions from you folks

Edit: Managed to obtain 'World of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time' by Robert Jordan and Terra Patterson from the library. Pretty awsome info. and pictures in there.

Was thining of starting A song of ice and fire but unfortunately all the copies are out on loan. From all the suggestions in the forums the first of the crown of stars is available. Any opinions on the series before I start?
