I think it's interesting that no one in the later books ever mentions (at least that I can recall) the fact that Bela was Rand's horse. Or technically Tam's horse. It's always Egwene's horse, even after Egwene sort of passes her along to Siuan.

 

It just seems like someone would mention, "Hey, you know that little horse we got tied up over there? I think it used to plow the Dragon Reborn's fields."

 

I remember CNN doing a story last year about someone buying a used car that turned out to have been previously owned by the Obamas. It seems like Bela should be at least that noteworthy.
