The two games you got wrong.  Jets beat the Chargers; SD's all passing on Offense; Jets have the best pass D in the league (and shut down Hou and NO, two passing offenses on par with SD's).

I just got a feeling that Sanchez is going to blow this game.

Me too.  It probably has something to do with him being a bad quarterback.

So . . . you're thinking what?  Like 3 picks and a fumble lost.  Oh wait, that was Brady's line  ;D

Chargers don't have the type of D that can force a lot of turnovers, and they're week against the run (which means the Jets will be able to let Sanchez manage the game rather than try flinging the ball around the yard (which is when he gets into trouble.  Only way that changes is if they're down 2 scores late - and if that's the case its hard to blame Sanchez for the loss.

The bottom line is the Jets match up well with SD.  The Jets run well; the Chargers have problems stopping the run.  The Chargers live by the pass; the Jets are death on passing offenses, holding opposing QBs to a filthy 55.8 QB rating on the season - and doing it against some of the best passing attacks in the league (incluing a Saints offense that compares favorably against SD's at every position Except (maybe) TE.  That doesn't mean the Jets will necessarily shut down SD, but it does mean that their pass D is legit, not a mirage born of playing the raiders, chiefs, and broncos 6 games a year.

More, the Chargers love to attack single coverage.  The problem for them is that the man being singled will be Vincent Jackson - and he'll be covered by the best CB in the game, Darrelle Revis.  If they attack there, they may win some of those battles - but I'd expect Revis to have a pick or two as well.

The Cowboys are going to win against the Vikings.  The Cowboys defense is hot.  They'll get enough pressure on Favre because they have decent corners and they have Ware and Spencer.  Besides you really think AP isn't going to cough up the ball?  Your mom could probably take better care of it.

Chargers over Jets.  Number one defense or not, Phillips will find a way to make the pass work.

Saints over Cardinals.  It was a pretty close one in GB and I think this could possibly be a shoot out like last week.  I just think the Saints will come out on top.

Colts over Ravens. Peyton Manning.

This is another game that is going to come down to the passing game.  The Cowboys and Vikings have two of the best run defenses in the league, 4th and 2nd respectively, and both have sub par (20th and 19th) passing defenses.  So while the run won't be totally abandoned its not going to be a big factor.  With that said Minnesota has a better receiving core, and a better QB with more experience.  This is as far as Tony Romo has ever gotten in the playoffs and I think that the pressure is going to get to him and his young star Miles Austin.

Vikings 27

Cowboys 21

There couldn't have possibly been more pressure on the Cowboys than last week. Their first playoff win in years was the hump and they got over it.  I don't think pressure plays a big part in this one.

Cowboys 24

Vikings 17

Vikings are going to choke, like they have done for the past 25 years. :)

Go cowboys! (they aren't my team but my team is out of it for this year sadly)

The difference between the vikings and cowboys choking, is the content of what they are choking on. Theres a reason Brokeback Mountain was based upon the Texas Cowboys. :P

Care to eat those words now? ;)

One thing Anoxanmore was forgetting is that, Farve has been, and won a Superbowl. That brings something to the Vikings plate that hasn't been there before. ;)

Saints over Viks we all know it is going to happen, and IF by some miracle they do make it, Colts are going to run all over them.

They still have two other opportunities to prove they can still choke like pros. :D

Ok the cowboys lost... so I am happy with the weekend.

Now if the saints lose I can be happy.  I don't rightly know why I dislike the saints so much... it must be because their fans come to my team's board and talk such crap that I have developed a distaste for their entire team.  That and their Who Dat chant...

So Go Vikings!

I am also pulling for the Jets.  I just feel like they are the underdog and are fun to route for.

Dallas needs help against the pass rush. :(  Oh well.  I guess what I want is a Jets/Viking superbowl.  I'm going for the Jets because they wouldn't be in the playoffs if the Colts weren't lame and because Favre left them.

I think the game between the Saints and Viks will be close, but I also believe the Saints want it more.

Jets... while I'm all for an underdog... I just don't see it.

I dunno man, Saints have won a superbowl before, Vikings have never won one. Mind you, The vikings were the first team to play in 4 superbowls.

I don't believe the saints are 'wanting it more' than the vikings, you have no idea how badly the Vikings want the superbowl, let alone to win.

Look at it this way, if we go to the superbowl, and we win, There will be riots of joy in the streets of Minneapolis. ^_^
