So Excited!  I especially can't wait to see how things go with the kid who was too young last season.  And I wonder if the ballet dancer will be back who was still under contract and couldn't continue.

The 15 greatest dances they showed were all great.  I didn't get to see much of season 1, so I don't remember those, but here's my thoughts on the rest of the seasons:

Season 2:

"Why" and "Calling You" were the first dances to really move me in a long time.

"Why" was so beautiful and it showed us a totally different side of Ivan.  I just sat there with my mouth open and tears rolling down my face as it was like we were witnessing Ivan become a man right there on TV.  I remember Mia talking about that dance.  I can't remember if it was the next time she judged or if it was during the finale when she picked it as her favorite, but she had a lot of moving things to say about it that made me cry even again.

"Calling You" was also moving, but in a different way.  Mia did such a beautiful job of telling a story and making us feel every inch of it.  Previously, we had not really seen Heidi in a dance where she needed to act and be emotional.  I was totally shocked by her ability.  In fact, I was so shocked, that the weight of the dance didn't really hit me until I saw it again in the finale.

A third dance that isn't listed, which moved me was the Viennese Waltz Benji and Donyelle performed.  I remember loving how great a couple they were and not really knowing anything about the Viennese Waltz, but being totally transfixed on it at that moment.

Season 3:

"The Chairman's Waltz"  This dance is Clearly my FAVORITE sytycd of All Time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Nothing else to say except that I cry every time.

"Hip Hip Chin Chin"  Hot hot hot!  Was the first dance I realized I HAD to learn the Samba.

Season 4:

"Bleeding Love"  Probably my Second all time favorite SYTYCD number of all time.  Every once in a while I'll hear that song and the memory of the dance has stuck with me so that a little video of Chelsea and Mark dancing plays the second I hear the song.  Super emotional.

This one isn't listed "Mercy"  This was just one of those Sassy dances that I totally dug.  It has lost its power over the years and it wasn't as fantastic on the finale, but I still love it.

This one Also isn't listed "Imagine"  The Pas de deux that Katie and Will performed moved me as well and is on my list of favorites.

Season 5:

I agree with all three on season 5, but overall, I wasn't bowled over by any of them except for "If it Kills Me."  And I think that's because it was Travis Wall whom I ADORE!  Now, "Gravity" was awesome, but only because of Kupono.  He really made that dance, she just danced the moves for the most part.  And speaking of Kupono, I also loved his crash test dummy dance, which I think is "Felt Mountain"  I heart Wade Robson!  He rocks my Socks!!!!!

I think that kid was clearly mentally handicapped in some way.  Actually, it wasn't clear to me until he was yelling at his parents about the window.  But I wish they hadn't have shown him.  I mean, he was funny, but that kind of stuff is why I hate watching American Idol's auditions.  Usually SYTYCD is better about that sort of stuff.

Oh but yeah, the gay couple.  I'm glad they let them in this year as well.  I totally cringed over Nigel's comment on them last year.  And I have to say that last year I didn't like them either.  It was very jarring because they were confused on their roles and it confused the dance.  I assume they took that criticism last year and worked on it because this year that was not the case.  This year they were just Amazing to watch!  They still didn't really have one masculine and one feminine role, but they did a better job of making each of their roles more balanced.  And I hate to say it this way, but neuter-which is to say neutral of sex.  It helped the viewer to focus on the actual dancing instead of the oddness of two guys going a Rhumba, which is designed for male/female partnership.

I was happy to see the deaf chick on.  It's about time someone deaf tried out.  Dancing With the Stars is probably the first show to showcase how a person can still "hear" the music and be non-hearing.  Honestly, them feeling the music isn't that much different from how most dancers improvise.

Finally Vegas.

Ryan didn't make it!!!  Makes me think that last year they only kept him around to ax him for good TV.

I really really like that New Orleans breaker.  And the Crumper looks to be entertaining.

Tuesday was bendy girl night... so I was in heaven...

I like the crumper the best so far.

Agreed 100%.  I was watching him along with the judges last night and he picks up Choreo like no-body's business.  And if he's really truly had no training he's a little amazing for it.

Anybody catch Adam getting all emotional about the one guy.  I mean I agree...that guy's a good dancer, but Adam needs to watch himself or he's gonna end up turning into a Dirty Ol Man (DOM) who's known for sleeping with younger boys (whether it's true or not).

So did anyone watch the last two eps...first night (Tuesday) no voting, just dancing.  Was fun to watch and not want to automatically critique them.

Wednesday night though...what was the deal with them putting Russell in the bottom, AND why was the other boy in the bottom considering he only had a day and a half to prep.  Granted they through him a bone by saying that they'll try and see if he can get in next year, but still...they shouldn't even have put him in the bottom.

Russell will end up being one of the most versatile dancers the show has seen if they give him the chance, and his performance didn't warrant being made to dance for his life at ALL.

Strictly talent wise, they also made the wrong choice for the girl they sent home...can't remember her name, but they should have kept Aryana.

If they had sent Russell home I was done with the show.  No way he should have even sniffed the bottom.

I am alright with Brendan going home, especially if they change the rules for him.

The young couple (blushing Ken and hyperactive Barbie) are going to drive me crazy... mostly because of Barbie.

Sad that Billie threw in the towel.  Not sad as this just ups Russell's chances to win.

Dances - The first hip hop was not great.  Lexicon and his hip hop was good.  Disco was ok but not as good as last season.  I didn't love the cha cha like the judges did.  The bird dance was not great.... it was too jerky... but that is Sonya I guess.

I'm baaaak.  Sort of.  Mostly to cry over only getting, like two seconds of a quick look at Pasha.  I pouted.  and then I Tweeted, "More Pasha Please!!!"

But back to the dancers.

Ryan should go home.  He's done.  I'm a little worried for Legacy though.  The first dance was Great, but a little odd and America may not like it.  I wasn't as blown away as the judges were.  I've seen those dancers that dude choreographs.  Sure, Legacy and Ashleigh did great for 3 days, but it was missing some Awesome.  And their second dance was WEIRD.  And Not weird good.

For the girls, I dunno.  I'm ready for Molly/Barbie (I think that's who Empy's calling Barbie, I need to study this thread more to catch up on his nicknames) to go.  Or Ashleigh could go, or Noelle.  I'm not super fond of anyone except Eleanore.  And maybe Katherine.  But mostly, I'm crazy about the guys this year.  I love Legacy, Jakob, and Russell!

Ok.... I am not wowed by anyone but the Crumper.

Barbie I want to slap across the face whenever she smiles that goofy High School Musical smile.  I am not amazed by her dancing.

Ken actually did well yesterday.

What is up with the crappy cheorography this season?  Where is Mia?

Sonya knocked it out of the park last night.

So beefcake is probably going home with his wife, Skelator.  They are ballroom and their solos suck.  Also their dances sucked.
