Also I vote [glow=red,2,300]Mynd[/glow], for revenge purposes, and also because he is an excellent player, he can manipulate a mafia game very easily.

 

Which can work very well...if he's town.  Are you nervous, Gypsy, you might be exposed as mafia??

In light of now having some posts to go over, I [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] my random vote and I will be reading posts, and seing people's replies.

 

Mynd is suspicious as always, and Dsage threw me for a loop with his analytical skills and then a self vote  :o . Barm's revenge vote should be retracted because I retracted mine but who knows..., and Mn was active for at least an hour after she posted she was ready to get things started and she never contributed anything.

 

I will love to see more reactions, until then I can not firmly justify a vote in my mind, however their are several people that appear scummish.

 

If you feel that some people are mafia, why don't you give names and why you feel that way about those people?  Just by looking at that makes me think that you have more information than the rest of us and that screams out to me as being mafia. With that, I vote [glow=red,2,300]Dragonsworn[/glow].

My vote on dragonsworn was initially just to protect my own arse, but his reaction to being voted is like the last ditch effort of a guilty man about to be sentenced to the gallows.  "It wasn't me and um Barm should unvote me because um....MNRose was online and......aliens landed and took over my brain..."

 

Another player who is pinging heavily on my radar this game is DSage.  One could take his entire line of posts as verbal vomit...something that oft-townie folks do when they are mafia.  It is odd that someone would actually out-ramble me.  Could he be adopting my "beat the ground to startle the snakes" approach?  Did he rattle some snakes?  Or is this someone who can't handle being mafia and is desperate to get other people lynched? 

 

I don't understand why people are so bent out of shape over "Meta-Gaming." either.  By definition, to "meta-game" means to think about the game.  Unless you are blind sheep, I would hope everyone is meta-gaming right now. 

 

Anyways, for now, I think dragonsworn is our best bet.....but it is worthy to note who votes with us and who doesn't.

Thanks so much Kivam, Talya. You put me in a nice little catch-22 here, either I can defend myself and seem more defensive, or not defend myself and be accused of ignoring your logic. :P

 

That said, many of my initial posts were made while I was trying to distract myself from taking a baseball bat to my other computer (bluescreened on me twice in an hour for no reason that I can discern), so I was kinda pissed off when I made them; thats probably why I came across as uptight and defensive.

Also, I'm starting to get a little wary of people who vote Mynd on principle (I mean actually vote, not joke vote).  It's too easy of a lynch for mafia to hide in.  If Mynd is acting suspiciously, that's a different reason.  My vote on dragonsworn stands.

Okay I been busy...and I just checked into DM at 1 in the morning and couldn't think straight enough to read those 6 pages and put in a relevant post so I just made a post saying I'm here. *shrugs*

Okay I've got my eye mainly on Jeran, Sage, and rose. I have another eye set aside for the other players but 2, count 'em 2!, are set for these 3 people.

I know you're entitled to your own opinion, but that is NOT what I was trying to do.  Of course, you have your own belief, and I hardly think I'll sway you.  But I had to say it.

Well I don't mind the bit about not being too active as it's true.  In the three games I am playing now (I think you are or were playing in them) I have note been terribly active.  Today is when I finally am having time to play at my usual rate.

 

As for removing suspiscion from DS...definitely not.  I later posted wondering if he was worried about being found out as mafia and then voted for him a couple of posts later.

In the context that I had written MNWhiteRose's name, it was more to do with dragonsworn's desperation to not get lynched; however, MN took it to mean much more than it was.  Again, the golden rule in Mafia is that the Mafia know they are guilty and will act differently when they are mafia.  Here, I find it hard for an innocent player to react this way.

 

This goes beyond OMGUS simply because I didn't even bold the name, let alone glow it.  It wasn't a vote and yet a sudden push from MNRose for my head.  Considering that I have the most votes behind dragonsworn right now, I wonder if this is an attempt to save a mafia buddy who remains on the block.

 

I think the right move for us here is to go ahead with the lynch on dragonsworn; however, we need to take a long, hard look at MNRose tonight....and maybe tomorrow too.

Well, I did see dragonsworn's post and was determined not to react to it, since it seems he is desperate to point a finger at anyone but himself and I did not want to draw attention to myself. But, when Mynd jumped in, it seems to me that both Mynd and Dragonsworn are working together. So - do I vote for Mynd or dragonsworn? Either way, I figure I have a 50/50 shot at a mafia.

 

And, since I've already commented on Mynd's post, might as well comment on dragonsworn's - Honestly, I don't think I'm the only one who spends an hour or more online at a time, and at the time of your post, not everyone had checked in, so I didn't think it to be prudent to randomly vote for someone. I don't like to randomly pick someone to get a reaction.
