I hoped it wouldn't come to this.

I'm a finder with correct findings always (I asked).

Yesterday I finded DSage (I got a second chance from Lia), and he came back as innocent.

If I get lynched, I suggest protecting him, so you have a confirmed innocent.

I won't be able to get back online before the deadline. :(

Loved the game!!

Liar! Liar!

We should lynch a mafia today ;D

And we should never forget to send our night action again :(

Youjust said that you forgot your night action, and now you are telling us that you are a Finder and you were able to complete your night action. Either way, you lied to us. So which lie would you like to explain?

Nicely caught Rose, I would like to hear Thorum's side, but as with any claim, I will [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] for the moment. As for someone else, I voted Hybrid yesterday, there was a reason, but I can't remember it and then he comes quickly in to vote for Rose, jumping on another bandwagon so quick. But I won't vote as I would like to see what Thorum says for himself!

Going to [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow] for now, but only to give Thorum time to explain the contradiction.  Since I think he's lying and this is a ploy to draw out the real finder- why view DSage, of all people, given that the plan was to view/confirm me - I'm almost tempted to vote for him anyway, screw the "uncounterclaimed" rule.  An unexplained lie would definitely push me to revote him if the other option were a random lynch.

Can someone point me to what Rose is referencing?

And yes, we are no longer linked.  Someone stole Rose's role (I guess as a way to establish my bonafides), and we are now lovers.  That person is also innocent, and I'll reveal who it is if they are under pressure

Actually Dsage would have been just a good a person to view last night. I don't like this telling finders wht to do, and if I had been finder I would have gone with whom I wanted and not with what was suggested here.

I'll see if I can find the post Kivam

This is the first one:

Then he posted this a while later

I forgot mine, and had to loosen the frustration about it.

Yeah, the problem with that is if everyone assumes the proposed target was actually innocent because there's no reveal, plus it wastes the doctor's protection.  That only really works night one, but I've used it to great effect before.

Got it, thanks

Thanks, Talya. Wasn't sure what Kivam was asking about.

Thorum made this big deal about forgetting to use his night action, then tries to claim that he did use a night action when the votes start piling up. I think it was right after Day 2 began.

Since [glow=red,2,300]Thorum[/glow] won't be back to explain I'll cast my vote for him after all.

Oh boy.  Finder claim on Day 2, not good.  :-\

Okay, I confirm that I am indeed an innocent.  But that's nothing the mafia wouldn't know.  A feel a twinge that Thorum is lying about his Finder role, hoping I'll back him up, because he claimed me innocent.

Thorums contradictory posts are forcing me to keep my vote on him.  If he can explain it to my satisfaction, then I will remove my vote from him.  As of now, it stands.

That bandwagon on Thorum was way too easy for my tastes.  And there are an awful lot of people "waiting for Thorum's explanation."

Take note of two things:

I hoped it wouldn't come to this.

Ah.  Thank you for pointing that out, Hybrid.  I admit, I missed it.

[glow=red,2,300]Unvote[/glow]

Thorums Finder claim still seems suspect to me, though.

Honestly, that makes me more suspicious of Thorum than not - first of all, no self-respecting mod would "give a player a second chance" to put a night action in.  You forget, you forget, and your team gets screwed because of it.  I know I'd never mod-prod a finder to make an investigation, b/c that would mean my actions could directly impact game play - which is what I always try to avoid if I'm a mod.  And the "I won't be back to answer any questions" card is way, way, way too easy a play for scum under pressure, especially when they don't give reasons.  (its one thing to say "I won't be back til deadline because I've got a 6 hour meeting and I won't be able to log in" - it's another thing to just say "I'm roled and I won't be back to answer questions, hope you believe me")

Then again, I am leery of lynching an uncounterclaimed finder candidate though if there's a real finder out there, they are doing the right thing by not revealing.  Your defense of Thorum opens up interesting possibilities, however - if you are guilty, he likely is too.

[glow=red,2,300]vote: Hybrid[/glow]

Lynch Vote:

Thorum (6) Illiara, Whiterose, Verbal, Jeran

Whiterose (2): JLM, Hybrid

Kivam (1): Thorum

Hybrid (1): Kivam

And it takes 8 votes to lynch if I'm correct.

Posted

I am merely pointing it out since Thorum said he would not be online to defend himself.  Just as many people defended you when Thorum started that vote.  Otherwise, I'd wait to see what his reaction would be.

The best way for the innocents to gain information seems to be this way.  My innocence won't prove Thorum's innocence, but it will help to reveal some things about everyone else.  And I have already messed up once this game, so I'm not particularly powerful for the innocents.

I don't think we should risk lynching the finder and it doesn't seem like there is much support for a whiterose vote.  So for the sake of a majority:

Note: I am not giving up or throwing a hissy fit (I still have my pride), I am just trying to do the best thing for the town.

Also, [glow=red,2,300]unvote and vote Hybrid[/glow].  :P

OK, I'm confused.  That's 4 votes on Thorum, which means either you miscounted, or Lia sent you the hidden voters, or you know there are hidden voters voting Thorum some other way.  Did I miss a vote count from Lia??

The deadline ends in 2 hours. 8 votes are needed for a majority. If a majority isn't reached, then my friend randomizer.com chooses which one of you gets the airlock (though I'm leaning towards a bloody death for not coming to a majority! :P )

Bah!  I was tallying it all up in order and I guess I missed subtracting that.  :P

I don't believe Thorum, but since he should have a chance to explain himself I won't vote him just yet. Since we've got maybe an hour until deadline its looking like a random lynch, but in hopes that its not I'm going to [glow=red,2,300]vote: Hybrid[/glow]

Dammit!  There's no way!  We'd need 3 for Thorum or 5 for Hybrid, or 7 for both Rose and Kivam.  There's no way!  Unless there are at least two other people online with me that will vote Thorum (quickest)

There's no way.  Random lynch, here we come!

Bloody work.

Well, since Kivam has arrived, I won't vote for him.

[glow=red,2,300]Illiara[/glow] gets my vote because my vote won't make any difference anyway right now.  More explanation in my next post.

I didn't have time to post my whole thought process in the last post, as we were so close to deadline, so here it is.

I did not want to vote for Kivam, but his potential for inactivity was a possible deciding factor.  His return was more than enough indication for me that he's still in the game enough to not vote for him.

Thorum, now... Thorum is a tricky nut to crack right now.  Something in me screams "mafia," but I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt, as I learned long ago that my instincts in Mafia games suck, to be frank.

Hybrid's defense of Thorum is only suspicious if viewed from the perspective that Thorum is guilty.  Since I'm not certain of where Thorum stands, he's off the hook.

Illiara is a name.  It was too late for me to do a full analysis of the game and choose a good candidate, so I chose one that I have no reason to suspect in order to choose a name, and I hope that this is a one-time event.
