BSG Mafia - Day 4

Alright...two days later than I hoped, sorry about that folks!

 

All of the roles have been sent out, please check in to say that you have received them! I will be adding an extra 24 hours onto the first day to accommodate the holiday.

 

Rules are the usual: Don't edit a post. Don't post your role pm to ANYONE, even if you're a Cylon :P You can only talk off thread if I say you can. I will mod-kill unless someone tells me they've gone on LoA or some such and I will attempt to contact them before I do anything. Play nice :p

 

Remember where we were?

 

The Celestra sits dead in space. The FTL drive and life support have been sabotaged. Suspicions abound. Desperation and fear result in fights throughout the ship, leaving most of the crew dead. A ceasefire, however, has been reached and an uneasy truce among crewmembers holds. They come up with a plan to find the culprits: they will vote on who the majority finds suspicious, kill them to help conserve what life support they have left and search their belongings for evidence. Innocents might and probably will die but in their state they aren’t thinking clearly, it seems like a logical plan. Little do they know that Cylons are among them. In fact, the Cylons came up with the plan. Can the humans figure it out in time? Will the Cylons survive to steal the ship?

 

17 crewmembers remain alive. To lynch you need a majority of 9 votes.

Alright, I've gone through everything that has happened so far.  I have quoted every single post (save for the mods opening post) and will comment on them.  You may find some of this as intriguing as I do.

Barmacral starts the Day off with this little zinger.  Is this simply another attempt to be funny?  Or is it a cryptic message?  And if cryptic, is it sinister or something else?

 

I don't know, but it will be interesting to see how Barmacral proceeds.

Right off the bat, BAM! a vote.  And not for just anyone, but for Barmacral.  Why?  Is it truly 'random' as he says, or is it something more diabolical?  A quick and silent hit at Barmacral for his previous post of hoping to be able to easily take out the mafia?

 

I can only hope it will be revealed in the near future.

Randomness?  Really?  It didn't seem very random to me.  You targeted Barmacral specifically.  No one else had posted before that time.  Are you sure that's the best excuse you can come up with?

It's interesting why you would question your own motives, DSage.  I read your thoughts, and I agree with some of them, but I just don't understand why you question yourself, since you obviously know what you were thinking at the time you posted.  The only thing I could think of was that you wanted to die Day 1, which would be silly.

 

I'm not going to vote until more people post so I can see how everyone is acting before I make a decision as to who I feel is mafia or not.
