When Galad finds out about Egwene

Hey what do you think will happen when Galad finds out about Egwene?  Or even Gawyen?

    Because Galad met Egwene in the White Tower and knew she was studying to become Aes Sedai, I don't think he would have much problem with her individual decision to stay Aes Sedai. Being a Whitecloak, I don't think he hates the 'witches' like most children, he didn't like the division in the Tower and also read about the children and it suited him better. I could never see him arrogantly strutting through streets, burning the Dragon's Fang on people's doors, or putting someone to the question for nothing.

 

    Now, as Commander of the Children facing the Amrylin Seat that will be interesting, but for the reasons stated above, I think he will be the first Commander to go to a meeting not hell bent on killing. Maybe, we can see a truce started between the two groups.

Galad finding out, the chance of that seems slim.  I guess you ask because of his plans to ally with Aes Sedia.  He might still go through that plan if he finds out.

 

Gawyn finding out, that seems more probable.  I guess he would get angry with Elaida.

I read no rule on this forum about having to read the books before posting.  And if there is such a rule, the enforcement of it would be difficult since this forum cannot keep track of any reader's progress.  Currently there is only a recommendation.

That you don't get the joke I'm making proves that you haven't read KoD.  It isn't uncommon for new DMers who haven't caught up on their reading to show up on this board.  And when they do they mess other people up with their arguments because other posters assume they had read all the books.  Or they post theories that have already been proven or disproven.

 

Case in point, years ago, there was a guy who had just started reading tDR when he posted his starteling theory that Ba'alzamon was Ishamael.  He got laughed off the board by everyone, even the mods.

 

There are many other fine places on DM to post where you don't need to be up to date on the readings, I know one person who has been on DM longer then me who was an Org leader and hasn't read the last three books.  But time you spend posting on this board is time you cold be spending reading up on WoT.
