I actually had no idea. I know you could, but I never thought it very informative at all, since it is not really saying anything. Everyone sends PMs now and then. (even me. I know Mynd doesnt really think that is something I would do. But seriously. You guyst think I have no friends in this world...  :-[)

Hybrid is correct.  Whose Online can be accessed from the main page by clicking the link directly below the Users Online bar.  Right now, it reads 26 Guests, 22 Users (0 Buddies, 6 Hidden).  Or you can follow this link here that I have provided.  Whose Online Yayness!

 

Whose Online has caused a lot of novice Mafia players some grief, especially when alt accounts are involved.  Watching someone post in the mafia thread, then send a private message (and seeing another player receive a message then send one) does not necessarily scream mafia, but it usually points people in the right direction.  It is very unlikely that DJ's private message was about anything else but Mafia since it occurred so quickly after posting in this thread.

 

I recommend that players who are mafia, or in any kind of communication group, use the handy-dandy quick topics so they can minimize the number of PM's sent through DM.  It worked great for Hybrid, Cuba, MCS, Barmy, and myself.

 

Whose Online is also the main reason that Hybrid has kept his status Hidden.  Very smart when playing mafia.

I'm not sure how necessary this comment is, in light of this otherwise attempt at being helpful post of his.  It's rather odd that Vemy does not cite the Christmas Mafia game where I successfully lead the team to victory (thanks pandy!) but citing this other game where he and I both perished at each other's hands.  Could the purpose of his statement be meant to discredit me?  Does he want people to not value what I have to say?  Why would he want this?

Quicktopics are something that I found through Cosmic Panda's CYOR mafia game, which makes communication off thread so much easier.  It's like creating a thread without a forum.  Basically, go to QuickTopic.com and create your own thread.  You can title it however you want and only the folks you send the link to will have access to your new thread.

Annoy you?  I would only be annoying to you if there was something to my accusation.  A guilt-free player wouldn't have given my post a second thought, or dismissed it much like Vemy did.  You seem to be taking this very hard, especially how you desperately posted in non-mafia threads to try and look interested in other things.

 

One simply needs to click on your profile and select "Show Last Posts of this person" to see that until after I accused you, 90% of your posts have been in Mafia game threads.  Why the sudden desire to post outside?  Are you trying to look like you are interested in anything but lynching me?  Or, are you trying to cover your tracks?

Mynd. The reason for the posts is that there is stuff going on here.. Its pretty dead over at general wheel of time.. Also because I want to try to get people to realice that your word is not gospel.

 

Mynd: If anyone else commented on me sending a PM it would be fine. Im just fed up with your accusations EVERY SINGLE GAME. I am annoyed cause you game after game has costed the innocents the victory. (especially when you are scum). People listen to you for some strange reason. And when they listen to you, innocents die....

My, my, my....keep digging that hole.  Are you saying that you don't think the other players are capable of thinking for themselves?  If people follow what I say, perhaps its because its logical.  

 

For one thing, I have been mafia in the last two DM games (CYOR & DIRTY COPS), but prior to that, in Christmas Mafia, I guided my fellow innocents to a victory.  Also, the odds of me being mafia in this game are rather slim since I have just been mafia in back 2 back games.  It's true, when I am scum, I cost the innocents victory....but that's kinda the point of being mafia, isn't it?

 

It's one thing to defend yourself, but your posts border on overkill.  The scum doth protest to much.

Going forward...when you are mafia, you really have to be careful of overreacting to my accusations.  Its ok to defend yourself, but when you go into panic mode like you did here, it's a scum tell.  If I were in your shoes, I would have simply said something like "I was just asking the Mod a question" and left it at that.  Oh well, I'll see ya in the next game.  Maybe we can be mafia together next time. 

 

Remember everyone.  The Mafia are the only ones who know they are mafia, and they will react to things differently because of this knowledge.

Another thing that happens when people listen to you is what happened in last game with Talya. So. There it is. I am done with this. My vote for you stands.

 

The % of you being scum and me being scum is exactly the same. I am nearly always innocent. Does that mean the % for me being mafia now is higher than yours, cause you just had 2 games as mafia?

If you flip a coin heads 5 times, the % of it being heads is still 50%.

 

As for me posting a lot now. So do you... I am done with stuff I need to do. Im at a cafe with WiFi. Im downloading stuff.. I have nothing to do. I post.

The reason I reacted that way Mynd was because you are questioning what I do on the boards here. I cant have anyone to PM cause I almost only hang around at the game forum. That is to me, something that has nothing to do with anything. You are drawing conclutions based on whatever random stuff you can think of....

This is why I enjoy this game so much as well.. It goes so much up and down. It is true however, the games were not so tense here before. But they were not so "complicated" either. So its for good and bad.

I changed Vem. When the games changed, I got more and more annoyed, and I ended up being emotional.

Like my first day vote against Mynd in Dsages last game. Mynd even admitted that was a emotional vote.

Um....yeah but this is different.  I really struck a nerve here.  I hope no one takes this game personally at all.  Many of you know what kind of teddy bear I am outside mafia games, but in these threads, its game on.  Please, remember that.  I mean nothing personal by my attacks.  

 

Having said this, I am not sure I buy this song and dance about taking this game too personal.  I think that you are mafia and were caught off guard by my attack.  Now, you are trying to make me look like this big meanie for "picking" on you.  I'm not sure what to make of your accusation of me being the reason the games around here have become tempered?  Personally, I have found them all to be quite fun and challenging.  Does anyone disagree?
