Dont you think Ive been around enough to know sending PMs is a "scum tell"? Its something you avoid as much as possible if you are scum. So much so that if I was scum, id open up a communication on another thread or on msn or facebook( or whatever you crazy kids do nowadays) to avoid people noticing me sending PMs.

 

My vote for you was a "thanx for last time" vote. But I was not hoping for a bandwagon on you.

 

Wow, a bit riled up and defensive....I must be on to something.  Since the only other threads you seem to be involved in are related to general discussions, Mafia seems to be your main interest here at DM, at least lately.  What else would you have to discuss on Private Message other than Mafia Plotting?

I still want to hear Hybrid's reason for voting himself, but I now would also like to know DJ's reason for defending Hybrid as well.  And, besides mafia, what else is DJ involved in on Dragonmount that would require him to send Private Messages so soon?

with 15 players, it takes 7 votes to get a lynch. When we have a lynch, it will happen as soon as I get on to see it, unless someone has unvoted while I wasnt on. Thats the rules!

I did not defend Hybrid though. Where do you draw that conclution? Someone asked for reasoning. I answered I thought there was one. Even though noone has confirmed I was right about what OMGIS means...

Don't be so hard on yourself.  It wasn't "stupid" of you, it is merely a mistake.  You just didn't expect anyone to be watching when you did.  We all make mistakes, even the best of us.  

 

Funny, if you had a question about your role, that must mean that your role is not a standard vanilla role.  Are you claiming to be the finder or healer then?  Or perhaps a vigilante?

Im not saying I did send her questions.. I put it as an example of PMs I could have sendt. Some of those I have sendt. Not necisarily today, but I have.. Anyway. I cant belive you would try to press out of anyone if they were a finder or healer.. This is a scum tell. You do NEVER try to out the healer or finder.. You just dont... Never. Never ever..... (at least NOT day one)

 

Anyway I cant see there being to many vanilla roles in this game.. Can you?

as for the whole meesh/thorum voting me thing- meesh and me are obviously both joking but since we are really just waitign to see more people place votes atm im content.

 

What thorum did was weird, a long drawn out day 1 gives us more info then a bandwagon, but at this poitn i dont consider it somethign to vote him for.

 

also for those of u who havent read death note:

Main characters (I'm splitting this into kira supporters and L supporters because the whole point of the manga is u have to decide for urself who's the good side):

 

Kira Supporters:

Light Yagumi/Kira- Original owner of a death note and *the* main character of the series. Kills those who commit crimes by writing their name down in his death note. obviously this role has an assassin aspect to it

Ryuk- the shinigami (god of death) that gave Light a death note, throughout the series acts as an idiot observer of the events on earth, his sole purpose of leaving a death note on earth is that he was bored. is obsessed with apples. He has a second death note of his own but the only time he uses it is to write light yagumi's name in his death note at the end of the manga/anime. Really not much of a role for the game, if anything this seems like it would be the mod's position.

Misa Amane- Receives a death note from REM (a separate shinigami), cutting the details she is obsessed with Kira and his avid supporter/is in love with him. She made a deal with REM to get shinigami eyes, this cut her life span in half (she did this once more later with ryuk, all of this for Kira). Seems to me like a symp role and a finder role.

REM- as i said, another shinigmai. dies killing Watari and L to protect Misa from L, is manipulated into this by Light Yagumi (who REM threatened to kill if he ever harmed misa since Light obviously doesnt care about her and is just manipulating her). If REM is a role it seems to me she might have a 1 time assassin ability- possibly killing herself in the process

Mikami- Skipping all the details Light has Mikami acting as kira on his behalf. possible assassin role. Has the shinigami eyes so possible finder role as well.

 

L supporters:

L- A genius who solves crimes simply because he's bored and they interest him. An interesting note is that L didn't necessarily disagree with Light's idea of killing prisoners but simply wanted to see if he could catch him. Definitely a finder role

Near & Mello- two separate boy geniuses who after L's death take over for him, working separately from one another (and against each other) to take down Kira. Eventually Mello dies to get near the winning bit of information Near needs to expose Light as Kira, so that only together could Near and Mello succeed where L failed. To be honest I dont know what they could be except maybe finder roles...and I also cant think of a character who would be a healer from the good guys point of view...

 

there are other character's danya could be using and its only my guess as to the roles but the aboves are the ones i would bet on

You look at Who's Online.  It's not really evidence of anything, but it could help you pick out someone to take a closer look at (emphasis on could).  ;)

 

Some interesting stuff, but I don't have time to post my thoughts or my explanations since I have to go to class.  I'll be back online (hopefully) at PDT 3:00 PM today.  Also, we have three days until the deadline - no need to rush things yet.
