Wow. So, after reading, I see that no one got a reading worthy voting themselves for?  We still need to hear from Dark Justice and Hybrid, hopefully one of them got a mafia reading.

Other peoples' readings are useless untill at least 3 nights have passed, since we have no idea who is paranoid/normal/... cop. I only trust my own viewings, and even those only very limited.

 

 

Is this true?  I ask this as a legitimate question from a newbie and not as sarcasm or finger pointing. 

 

I did a couple of scenarios and you should be able to trust your own viewings after 2 views either from viewing yourself one night or from having viewed 2 people who are now dead.  The following is all hypothetical and not suggestive of any actual findings.  Any resemblance to actual findings is purely coincidental.

 

That should also work, if you have received two different readings.

As you may have guessed, I viewed Liathiana last night.  And the result I got should be clear enough from my unexplained vote on her.  :D 

 

The next question on your minds is probably why I didn't view Mynd after all the controversy during the last Day phase.  The simple reason was that I assumed nearly everyone would be viewing him, and I wanted to check out someone who hadn't been taking part in the events (and yes, I realize that applies to me as well).  A number of you pointed out (correctly, in my opinion) that the mafia, or at least some of the mafia, were likely lying low while we accused one another, and the low-layers are often the hardest to figure out due to the lack of information.  So I took a gamble on Liathiana, and it seems to have worked out.

I would like to know whether Hybrid viewed Lia as a guilty cop, an Other or Another Other.

 

I think we should spend our time discussing who we believe might be the solo players, vigilante's etc. It would be in both our interest and the remaining dirty cops interest to try to nail that down in order that the dirty cop kill the consensus Other in a Night Kill. I would also like to know who else hybrid has viewed with what result.

 

Only a couple of us have expressed opinions as to who might be a solo player or vigilante I hope others will chime in so that we can try to come to some conclusions.

I'm sure the combination of this game turning me into a raving paranoiac and the fact that I am re-reading the WoT series (just finishing book 9) made me think that Hybrid's response was suitable for an Aes Sedai.  I thought this because he didn't actually say that he viewed Liathiana as guilty.

 

I also remembered peacesells theory that Talya could unvote at the last second on the last day and we'd have no lynch.  That made me put in a vote on Liathiana right away so that she could not do that to us.  Just in case something very sneaky was going on.  As I said a raving paranoiac!

I share in large measure your paranoia. However, I was waiting to here what hybrid said before voting for Lia. Two reasons, I still think Mynd is dirty and I distrust both Lia and Hibrid for not taking an active part in the game up to today.  It's 2 and 1/2 hours into day 3, I did not expect such a rush to lynch Lia. Thankfully lynch votes are not set in stone. Let's here everything Hybrid has to say and what others suspicions about Other aligned players is. There is plenty of time to discuss this rationally.

I wouldn't say this game is making me paranoid, but its certainly driving me crazy.  Still, it's all in fun of course and this has been a true challenge of my powers of deduction.  Props to DSAGE for running a very challenging game, I can see why initially this was a no-newbies game.

 

I am interested to hear what Lia thinks about all of this when she returns.  I am also interested to hear exactly what Hybrid viewed on Lia since he is allowed to say so, and who he viewed on Night 1.  There are other Mafia/Other/More Others out there among us. 

 

Catina - mixed feelings about her.  I'm getting the same vibes I got from Talya with her, but she correctly viewed Danya.  Was her push for reveal an attempt for the Mafia to hog the vote?

 

Jeran - I can't find a post of his that was anti-town.  Although there is such a thing as "too innocent so must be mafia," this guy is the lowest on my radar.

 

Hybrid - Hadn't posted a whole lot, but suddenly comes in today with a viewing and a lynch on Lia.  I'm sure her coroner report will tell us his true alignment.  If Lia is Innocent, we lynch Hybrid.

 

cosmicpanda - Only slightly higher on the radar than Jeran simply because, of all things, he seems to be siding with me this whole game.  Agreeing with me is a sign of intelligence but it also makes me suspicious that you are mafia.  You also lept on the Liathiana lynch....are you aiming to remove your vote before deadline?

 

Cuba - Second from the top of my list as far as mafia.  You have seemed to side with MCS this entire game and your play has been becoming increasingly aggressive as the game has progressed.  You were too quick with Catina to push for a lynch on me way before the Night was over, but now that Hybrid has his read, you are more than happy to lynch her. 

 

Thorum - Your siggy says it all.  If you are not mafia or some kind of solo win/cult guy then I will be very surprised.  You said you had a gut feeling about Lia this whole time, and even tried to lynch her, but your logic tends to contradict itself.  You've made aggressive plays without any facts to back them up....but that could just be your playstyle. 

 

Liathiana - You didn't post much, but when you did, it didn't seem too scummish.  Your last couple posts could have been interpreted as faking ignorance, if that is what Catina was trying to say, but I'm actually quite surprised that Hybrid has viewed you as Guilty.  If you are indeed Guilty, then well played!  You blended in with the shadows very well and are a worthy opponent.

 

Does anyone have any other thoughts?

Like I said cosmicpanda, you are only slightly higher than Jeran on my mafia radar, which means not much at all.  Ironically, Lia was also low on my radar until now.  My three main suspects right now are Thorum, Cubary, and Lia/Hybrid, whoever turns out to be Guilty.
