Dirty Cops Mafia - GAME OVER!!!

Well, those of us who are Cops....once we each figure out which kind of cop we are, we can begin to pool our resources on who is who.  For example, I plan on viewing myself tonight and if you haven't already done so, I suggest everyone else do this too.  Likely, one of us will be killed by the mafia, but even so, having multiple finders is more of a threat than the lynch to the mafia.  Make sense?

 

Now, I am not saying we don't lynch anyone.  Unless MCS can convince me otherwise, I think we should end him to get some answers.  What bothers me about your post about lynching Catina is that you said so BEFORE she posted her information.  To me, that seems like a mafia tactic.  What is to prevent her from waiting until just before deadline to post her results to avoid being lynched?  

 

You just seem a bit too eager to lynch her, especially when MCS is screaming for it.

a Dirty Cop

Other?

More...Other?

 

The 'Others' of course will need to be found out - if they exist.  The type of role a Player is will NOT be revealed until Game Over.

I can see your theory Mynd, but there is one big problem, when we all begin to pool everything together, we still have no idea who is lying and who isn't. And as Dsage has told us, we aren't going to get that kind of information. So your idea won't work.

 

What difference does it make what she posts. I will go through the points again

 

1. She was a little too quick off the mark, after lurking around and not posting until Dsage did with the night result.

 

2. MCS voted for you to reveal then edited and chaged not only his vote, but deleted the words that he said about why he was choosing you. It looked like someone may have been guiding him.

 

3. By Lynching her we will know if she is a dirty cop. If she is then we can be cautious about her viewing, If she is an innocent cop we know she was more than likely telling the truth. We then more than likely have a mafia.

 

4. If she is guilty, then it makes mcs looking guilty. I'm surmising here that you got an innocent cop or other on your thing last mnight (Mynd) which is why you quaetions what other role you may have because of your gut instinct. so you are willing to vote someone you got that didnt say dirty cop because you feel you are right. Even if you view yourself tonight you won't find out for definate whether you are or not.

 

5. I'm sure there is another reason, but my mind is blank.

 

So why should I wait to see what she says. The outcome will be the same. If she doesn't post (which would make her look more suspicious) then it's even more of a reason to lynch her!

There is one thing I agree with Tayla here is that I don't think veiwing your self is going to give you any information.

 

I do think there is a possibility of gaining info by repeat viewing someone you have already viewed.  If the result comes up different then you know that your own viewings are suspect.

You come in after the night saying you have this info, so what did it say then. Because all you have said is a name and that seems to me as a cope out.

You get back a Mafia read - means you are either the Paranoid Cop (always reads mafia) or the Crazy Cop (always reads opposite).

 

You get back innocent - means you are either a Normal Cop or Naive Cop (always reads innocent). 

 

With me, I have viewed....someone....and lynching him will help me determine what kind of cop I am.  Viewing myself tonight will also help because if I get a mafia viewing, I know that I am the crazy cop who always gets the opposite.  Make sense?

fine whatever. i investigated danya and found her innocent.  she was one of the two who almost got lynched on day 1.  that should shed som light on that whole bandwagon thing.

You are making a pretty big assumption that the MOD is going to give you the info they way you are stating it.  But if the MOD does it as you say..then your idea could work.  I'm just not sure that's how the mechanics of this game go.

If you had just found someone innocent why were you so keen to have that viewing said, when it is more important for those that get a dirty cop to be the finders. That seems like wasting the time of people here. Someone may have actually had a mafia viewing and you came in quickly to make sure they didn't get in, or because you thought an innocent viewing was more important to reveal than a mafia?

 

I question your logic.

 

It has possibilities, but we ourselves would be the only ones that knew we were innocent normal cops with no alternative role. However convincing the rest doen't helkp too much in the long run, because the mafia will still lie their way out of things and it would be hard to work everyone out.

Wait, what?!  Didn't you get a read last night as well?  If so, then you would already know the answer to this question!  You would have gotten back a read on your target as either innocent or mafia.  If you were a cop, then you would know this.  I am very confused why you don't.

I also am bewildered as to why someone with an innocent viewing jumped to be the first finder????  I had an innocent viewing as well and did not even consider nominating myself.  Very strange.  I think it was a disservice to the town.  I don't think it means she is a dirty cop...just lacks good judgement in this case.

 

Right now my top 2 players of interest are MCS(for what looks like him being coached) and Catina (for pratically begging to be the finder on an innocent view.)

How about this:  I know I'm innocent (I'm sure this is about as effective as Mynds same statement was)...I'm pretty sure that Thorum is innocent so that leaves Mynd, Catina and Cubarey. 

 

Mynd doesn't find anything unusual about Catina's finding?  I find that difficult to believe.  Possible Dirty Cop.

 

I have no read on Cubarey yet.  Could go either way.

Okay, Mynd and Danya had the same amount of votes. Then three people voted. One was Danya who changed her vote to Mynd, not surprising (except that she never votes the first day) since it's between her and Mynd. Now there are two more votes one for Mynd and one for Danya. How is this a large momentum towards Mynd?

I find her eagerness to disclose that she viewed Danya as innocent suspicous. Even a wrong finding that someone was a dirty cop would have been more helpful as it would have indicated that the finder was either dirty himself,  a crazy cop, or given the wrong finding (if  this is  possible). Now all we know is that Catina says she found Danya innocent (and I agree with Tayla it seemed to me that Catina was hinting that Tayla was dirty when she was begging to be choosen the Finder). I am not ready to ame a definative vote but for now I vote [glow=red,2,300]Catina[/glow]

Is this an underhanded way to indicate what your finding was? Could not your finding be wrong? Are you sure you are not a nieve cop?
