Boston, Glenn Miller, and the Eagles would all find a spot, but probably not JD.  As well Staind has some good stuff, Disturbed has an almost identical sound at times to my buddies local band, and System of a Down, I am not as familiar with as I could be.  :-\

 

When it comes to Metal, I am kinda a late 70's-early 90's listener.  I dn't have nearly the exposure to new music I used to have.  I should rectify that.  ;)

Honestly, I have never gotten the parodies and don't really like them...I think because they are either of songs I don't like to begin with...or because I like the original as is!  LOL  or i'm just dull and boring...

 

Wierd Al does have some that are interesting and fun though I will admit.  I think when I got turned off of parodies was the  being inundated with the Dr. Demento Show way back when....
