Couple of questions

In regards to the tainting, I think that saidin being tainted has to do with that fact that it was only saidin being used to seal the bore. It was right there being used on the DO, so it was in direct contact. Had a female channeler been right there, but not channeling or taking part, I think saidar would have still been fine.

Thank you Mr Ares. Its not there, but I'm going to keep looking around to find it. I definitly remember RJ saying that.

It might have been speculation in the Guide, but I know that I read it somewhere too, beyond just in a forum theory or something. I looked a little bit last night and could not find it, but I did not check the guide.

 

Well, if you guys come up with it, let us know, because I've been through all of RJ's interviews and if I've missed something I'd like to know. It's happened before, lol.

 

In the mean time though the issue with the tainting of saidar is that RJ has made a theme of men and women being stronger when working together. There is a definate thematic vibe that they might have survived together.
