Yeah, I agree.  I think he's hiding something.  What has me puzzled is why he is pushing to keep the roles submissions to ourselves.  I submitted a time bomb role and I didn't get that one for myself, so I wonder which one of us got it.  It would be beneficial for us to reveal what roles we submitted, wouldn't you agree?  But you don't agree.....and therefore you have something to hide.

What if Mynd is a silencer?  It would be very crafty to stay silent during a day to pretend to be a victim (especially as one of the more outspoken players) and then show back up and claim that you were silenced. He even uses the term "muted", like he doesn't know what the silnecer role is - nice touch.

 

Then he starts a lynch against me becuase I told people to protect their information when he wanted everyone to reveal.

 

We do have a deadline, so I'm going to vote [glow=red,2,300]Mynd[/glow] to be safe. It's a given that if DJ does show up and has different info, I'll go with what he says.

Gee, DPR.....why are you voting me?  Shouldn't you wait for the finder to post his report? I mean, its not like the deadline is close or anything.  Why the need for a retaliation vote so soon?  Are you testing the waters to see who bandwagons with you or something?  I find that action very contradictory to your earlier posts. 

 

You want us to NOT tell what roles we submitted. 

 

You want us to hold off voting until the Finder (DJ) shows up with his report. 

 

Then, you vote me in retaliation "just to be safe"? 

 

Someone has the power to mute people, as I experienced during the last round. 

 

You don't want people to know what your power is.

 

If we fail to reach a majority, then the Mafia are free for another Night Kill.

This is getting crazy - just so everyone is clear, this is where I stand:

 

1. Do not kill the finder - I have no idea what the logic is behind Thor's suggestion, but as long as the healer covers the finder at night, we should be cool. If he's silenced, then fine. Buit he is still finding, and as soon as the one silencing him is lynched, we'll get all of that info. We don't even know if he has been silenced - he could have just not posted yet. Sheesh.

 

2. Do not reveal what roles you sent in to Pandy - It does nothing but help the mafia figure out who is who and what powers they have. Lia died because she shared her info and made herself a target. Mynd chooses to ignore this fact even though I have pointed it out numerous times.

 

3. Do not be thrown off track by weird logic! - Every time we go down that road, the mafia wins. If we stick to straight forward information gathering, we will out the scum.

 

My vote stays on Mynd and Thorum looks to be first on my list for tomorrow.

Clarification of my logic: remember this only counts if dj doesn't come in with his findings soon (and I'll be online frequently enough in the next few days to change it if necessary).

 

- the finder could have been "converted" (become a maffia).

- this way the maffia will know who has important roles and who hasn't

- this is bad for us.

 

- I don't see any other reason to suspect anyone else (DPR because he changed his mind? Or because he disagreed with Mynd? Or ... - What's the reason for voting Mynd?)

err yeah, dont really see it Thorum.. I understand the "dangerous with a Mafia Finder" and all, but we have NO evidence that this has happened... We know we have a silencer or muter or whatever somewhere, ever thought about maybe the finder is muted or silenced or whatever? We risk less by lynching inactives like Moggy f.ex. I'm not saying we should, but i'd rather risk an innocent who might actually be mafia (applies to all of us) than taking out the confirmed finder before we know why the finder isnt speaking up. Your attack on the finder makes me suspicious of you Thorum, your logic is usually all well and good, but this time.... not so much  :P

its someone who can "capture" (depends on the role tho ofcourse) a player, making him/her unable to post on the thread or vote or do much anything. I dont know how this silencer role works tho, but it seems like Mynd might have been silenced at some point, and now maybe DJ since he'sbeen online and hasnt posted yet. I take it you havent read the game vey well, since its all DPR and Myndhas been talking about lately  :P

I find both Thorum and DPR suspicious, I'm at odds who to go for. I have already stated why I think DPR is sus (I have quoted below so you don't have to got back and I don't have to retype!) Thorum seemed a little too sus in his claim of not knowing what a silencer was, He is an experienced player and this role has been used many times! I can only see a silencer being Mafia too, though I may be wrong.

 

As there are no votes on Thorum, at this stage I would count this as a wasted vote. So I am going with [glow=red,2,300]DPR[/glow] for now!

 

 

If Barm was a miller and did have eight votes it means someone on his vote was definately a mafia and Lia gave their vote to him. I think DPR said this. I thought it odd that DPR didn't put his vote on Barm straight away and said he would wait, for what exactly. Maybe because he had already been given the extra vote from Lia, he couldn't vote on Barm whilst she was still alive too early on, as she could easily question him. Of course if he was the last one, knowing that his vote would be counted as two and Pandy was around to do the Lynch, then it would go to night and he could get rid of Lia before she could say anything. She isn't the most active in these games so it wouldn't be too much of a risk. DPR of all people questioned what a voter giver was...did he really not know!

 

Of course that theory is if Barm was telling the truth.

 

So we have only one way to prove DJ as correct in his finding, so [glow=red,2,300]Hybrid [/glow]

First of all, I'm sorry I couldn't play this game more active.

 

Second, it will get worse. My company is reorganising locally (merging of Belgium and Netherlands office) and I'd prefer keeping my job.

 

I'll try to get online sometimes, but this will probably be my last post until things clear up again here.

Obviously Talya has a bee in her bonnet for me - but I find it strange that she does not even address the obvious points I've made about Mynd.

 

I was completely clear about my reasoning, and in the end I was trying to save Barm from a mafia bandwagon. I don't think anyone expected him to die, and that is still unexplained.

 

Mynd and Talya working together to gun for me is not surprising, they've been doing it from the start and nothing I say is going to change that.

 

But I think it is fair to point out a point I made above: Do not reveal the role you sent into Pandy. Despite the fact that Lia got killed for doing that, Mynd is still pressing it and Talya won't even talk about it.

 

My vote stays on Mynd, but this is getting more interesting.

Thorum, I would like to believe you but ya just are playing way to dumb for your caliber, and the "Fine, replace me im too busy" arguement goes out the window for the shear fact that you posted said post here instead of privately PMing the Mod your request.  You failed in your push to lynch Dark Justice, who is obviously silenced, and now are playing desperately blind/busy to cover your tracks.

 

Talya, I do find it interesting that you didn't mention me at all in your post.  Either I have been very convincing of my innocence, which I am, or you are bandwagoning here.  Hmmm, which is it?

 

Still, the chap with the most scummish behavior is indeed our DPR man, who doesn't want us to tell what roles we submitted. He's fine with casting about suspicion, but like Talya scummishly doesnt mention my behavior, he doesn't mention Thorum's.  Hmmmm.....this is becoming very clear to me now.

I mentioned the two that I thought was most suspicious to me by what has been said! You avoided answering my priginal post and have said nothing about what I have said, instead just come out with more accusations with nothing to back it up! I've said it at least three times now - by revealing what role you sent in, you alert the mafia to 1.) what roles are out there, and 2.) who has those roles. Which part of Lia-is-dead-and-the-mafia-knows-who-our-finder-is-because-they-followed-your-suggestion didn't you understand? You want to go ahead and give them the healer too? I said that he was first on my list to lynch tomorrow. The first point I made after that post was 1. DO NOT LYNCH THE FINDER. You are either not paying attention (doubtful) or you are actively trying to start a bandwagon on me for blatanly incorrect reasons. Just like a mafia would.

I've answered this three times as well - Mynd was the ringleader of the day 1 lynch on Barm - not me. But, I did see the flaw in his plan and pointed it out. Anyone who has read the posts knows this.

 

What I said was: MAKE SURE THAT THE PEOPLE NOT VOTING FOR BARM VOTE FIRST. Or else someone will come in with a 8th vote and kill him "by mistake". Then we would have lost an innocent and had little to go on - was it a mistake. Was it not?

 

And like clockwork, that is exactly what happened. I did everything I could to prevent this - a plan cooked up by Mynd - because I thought Barm was probably innocent.

 

By the time Barm had 6 votes against him, I jumped to add the 7th so that we could prove he was innocent and close the day.

 

I was really clear about all of this, and for the number of people accusing others of being experienced and of "knowing what is gogin on" I find it amazing that the two of you (Mynd & Talya) can't quite see it. Amazing  :P

 

Anyway - I wish that everyone would read all of the posts and play. meh

Really? Obviously? So, he's not "muted" anymore. heh. Is Moggy obviously silenced? What about Dae? Are they all silenced?

But don't take the Metagame's blog for it, read for yourself.  If you were to sum up DPR's last post, what is he essentially saying?
