Hello Dragonmount!

 

I'm relatively new to the series.  I first heard of it in jr high, and I thought the cover looked corny, and was all wrapped up in DL legends, so I judged it not worth my precious time.  So a decade or two later, when I'd read everything there seemed to be to read, including notso fun books like Dante's Paradise trilogy, i figured if I could get through that, I could get through this Wheel of Time.

 

I suppose it's a good thing i waited, or I probably never would have finished school, or got a job, cause every free moment I have is spent on this subject.  If I every get my PHD I'm gonna fight for a WOT phil course.

 

But i babble...I didn't start the series until after the passing of RJ, and when I started KoD I went online to find out how long I would have to wait and had one of the most heartbreaking experiences of my life.  Much worse than no one was sure if King would live to complete the Tower Marathon.

 

Well that's my storie and I'm sticking to it.

So I am the Emperor.  Not the Empress as some newbies wrongly assume.  Of course I have often wished to be a woman for a day so I could do womanly stuff... like...err.... drive badly.  BAHA!  See what I did just there... I made a stereotypical pun.  It's ok if you laughed.  Just don't tell my wife. 

 

So you are new to DM.  According to statistics I just made up but seem kind of true, there is a 80% chance you posted your welcome thread and never post again.  I hope this isn't true because I feel we have quite an attraction.  Oh you are going to deny it but at night... when you wake up covered in night sweats... you are going to open your eyes and realize I was right. 

 

So what does this mean for you.  Well obviously my whole point was that you should come down to the Seanchan org and visit.  If you are good, we may even let you join (or you could just respond to the join post). 

 

The Seanchan talks about movies and TV mostly.... well on our public board.  Our private board has discussions that kind of go like this now I think about it. 

 

So if you want more Emp... or people that act kind of like Emp.... or talk in the third person.... don't delay coming to the Seanchan.
