Actually, I was only 3rd to vote for Dae, and that was because it didn't feel like Vemy was Mafia.

 

As for Blig, I gave my reasons, he was constantly going after Vemy and then Vemy gets NK, which is, as I said, a weird move. (Because Mafia usually kills people that don't raise suspicion, leaving the suspicious ones to be lynched.) And meta-gaming, Blig has a tendency to act... weirdly :P

 

But atm I'm thinking it could also just be mark of a newbie move, and that makes me suspicious of how Moggy and Tifa came out of their muteness just to vote for me, without any comment. If that's newbieness, this is not Day 1 anymore, you got to give reasons. ;)

 

For your information Luthine, 3rd position in a bandwagon is the perfect place for a mafia to hide...placing a first vote, does not mean bndwagoning, a second not necessarily neither , but one you get beyond that and no clear reason can be given it can be considered that...so my point is valid. Did you feel Vemy was innocent or did you know?...if you are mafia, you can always use that as an excuse for not voting for someone in an attmept to try and make yourself look innocent.

 

I'll stick with my vote for the time being.

 

Though I will allow the defensive...most people do tend to get like that...innocent or mafai.

 

For a mafai to constantly go after someone and then nk them would be a daft thing to do. Having said that, it's also a double bluff, so you do have a point there.

I think that DJ had a really good point.  Once Luthine got a few votes on her, the last couple of people to hop on are suspicious to me, as that would be a mafia thing to do - be the last few votes on an innocent to get the lynch.  Now, I'm not saying that Luthine is definitely innocent, but I'm not getting an evil vibe based on her posts.

 

Also, Luthine has a good point with coming out of the woodwork to get a lynch towards the end.  I know this might make somebody say the same about me, and I really don't have a good defense for that.  I've posted, but not as much as I would like to.  I'll be more active during the next week.  :)

If I remember correctly, 3 votes were on Vemy and 2 had been placed quite early on Dae so it didn't feel like bandwagoning because I had my reasons And sure they weren't awesome but it was Day 1, you rarely have good reasons, you have to go with your feelings.

Though I agree, it could have been an attempt to make me look innocent ;)

As the sunless day draws to a close, the Holidayers have divided in to groups.  The damned on one side, and there judge and jury on the other. Then one of the condemned speaks up, the one now wearing a grey hat with a wide brim, and a wide sneer stretched across her face,

“ There are some gallows on the out skirts of this village, wouldn’t it be easier to ‘dispose’ of us there?”

The rest of you look at each other for a moment and then shrug your shoulders and nod your heads.  Someone grabs some rope and off you frogmarch the two you have chosen the scaffolding.

Tifa suddenly twists away, screaming in terror

“I’M INNOCENT! I’M INNOCENT, BY THE GODS, PLEASE LET ME LIVE!”

But your hearts have hardened to your task, and she is quickly brought back underhand, sobbing uncontrollably, as you drag her along.  Eventually you  reach the gallows and the nooses are placed round necks, and soon its all over.  Another two lynched. But as you walk away  there is a shout behind you. How can it be possible , you turn back to see Tifa hanging limply, but next to her Luthine is glowing,  and if you look at her sideways you can see an old, one eyed man, with a raven on each shoulder and a wicked looking spear in hand. You take a hurried step back as she burst out with a deep throaty laugh

“Foolish mortals, I’ve hung before, hung on the tree of life its self. I was here to help you, but your fate is surely sealed now, the ragnarök is coming”

Luthine-Odin makes to cut her self down, when a blur of fur and snarling teeth comes galloping from behind. You are duck as the beast soars over your heads and its enormous jaws open wide and swallows Odin and Tifa with a gulp and a snap. Then it, Fenrir, turns round to face the surviving Holidayers. It is dark by now and all the courage of the day has left you, even the stars seem to disappearing, and so do the rest of you, back to hide in the empty houses and hope you survive the night. As you run you can hear the howling joined by a sibilant hissing and a cackling laugh, but its now to dark to see who is missing from the Holidayers.

Hmmm, so I guess I should have revealed myself earlier but I thought that in case of a tie, only the person with more votes would end up lynched. And considering the number of people not voting, thought it was bound to happen... my bad  :D

Okay so Luthine was our finder.  What can we figure out about the mafia from how she voted. 

 

The first day she was in on the lynch of innocent Dae.  The second day she initially voted for Blig then changed to Tifa when not many votes were coming down. 

 

I'm guessing that means whoever she findered was innocent and that it wasn't blig.  If she was sure of a mafia she would have done more to convince us to lynch of course she was so busy defending herself she may not have had a chance.  So I guess the answer is we learned nothing.  :-\ hmm.

 

Sorry if this is obvious but beig a newbie I need to think out loud as it were.
