Joking aside, I do have a question about the One Power. Seeing as Siuan says that you can make a sword out of Air, and we have seen Rand make a sword out of Fire, surely there are other things that can be made with the One Power.

If Rand is going to be made out of heartstone, and given extra powers, make his middle finger the balefire one. It would be the ultimate insult.

 

But seriously, his hand should be made out of pure weaves from the One Power. That way, he would literally have "the hand of light" and use it to shelter the rest of the world from the Dark One.

Hehehe, the RED hand made me think of Hellboy.  Lmao, good movie ^^  And if it were red AND made of cuendillar (I know that's not possible, but let me dream...) then he would have a kick@$$ hand that would never break. ^^ 

 

Honestly though, I really don't know what is going to happen... I'm not really sure I believe the whole body-swap theory... personally I would think Avienda, Elayne, and Min would find it strange sleeping with another body... even if it were the same guy.  Plus, Elayne and Avienda have seen Moridin before and were afraid of him.  Why would they even consider being with the same guy who simply looks scary to them?  Therefore I must assume Rand either gets a new hand and keeps his old body or dies and manages to find a way to disguise himself?  Iunno.

 

However, if he does get a new hand, I think the most useful thing would be a ter'angreal hand that would link him to the KC, or something that would help him use Callandor. 

 

The coolest would be Nynaeve taking his now healed stump and growing a new hand out of it ^^  Ew, wierd image though...
