Running Tunes

So I don't post on DM that often so I thought I'd try to remedy that. ^_^

Alright, it's just starting to get warmer in my city, which means I can stop going to the gym and running on the treadmills.  Unfortunately, that means I can't watch the TV while I'm running.

So what does that mean?  Well, it's time to update my iPod. It's time to create a new playlist specifically for running in the mornings. ^_^

Unfortunately I've listened to my music over and over and over and over. I've had  the same playlist for when I go running for the past two years.  It works well, but it's getting a little tiresome.

So, what I'd really appreciate is if you could suggest a few songs that I could add to my playlist that you think would go well while running or exercising.

(oh, and Eye of the Tiger won't be included on the list.  I already have it anyway. ^_^)

The Fratellis are good for running to, I find, it's up-tempo with a good beat. Apart from that, I like Don't Stop Me Now for running, the Queen version, or the McFly version, it's still a good running song!

I usually don't bother listening to my iPod in the gym. That's mainly down to the fact I don't have a fancy holdall thingy to put it in for my gym session. As a result, I "listen" to the music in the background, which tends to be some sort of dance music.

I'm sure you can fit some Michael Jackson into your workout. You could moonwalk in and out of town. You may get some strange looks, but I am sure it would be really cool!  ;)

Thanks Horn and Manny (I'll have to sort through that monster list in a bit. ^_^)

*laughs*  Like that'd stop me. Besides, the only people up at the same time as me are the fisherman when I run along the riverside, and they stare at me anyway because I'm scaring the fish.  But really, there's something wrong with you if you think fish actually live in the Detroit river. ^_^

I like Barra's suggestion of Sandstorm.

Robert Miles' Fable is good too. Greece 2000 by Three Drives and On the Beach by York are also recommended. If I'm not in the mood for dance music, Blur is usually my choice.
