Just signed up after spending about the last year as a guest.

After reading all the comments and opinions I have accepted the fact that shouting at the screen will not point out errors and will not get my opinion across. Isn't that strange :-\

 

I will apologise now for my spelling, punctuation and grammar now as it can be terrible. I do try to word process but sometimes i am too lazy. For those of you that are teachers (I know there are a few!) again Sorry!!

I'd like to recommend the Wolfkin Org we are a very friendly bunch and would just love you to drop by. We love anything to do with nature. We have a thread to share any of your nature photos and our own pawprints newspaper, so come and take a look. Of course we are not serious all the time and you will find we are also the home to TQ (tequila) and Chilli, and like to relax and have fun by our TQ Lake.

 

There is also the Band of the Red Hand, the Music and Travel Org. With three REgiments, Infantry, Cavalry and the archers. We have our own Org game, and lots going on including , brews, brawls, jousting. So come along and ahve a brew or 6 with us there.

Considering i have been reading the forums for a while now i have not really had much of a reason to read the new members areaa.

 

I must say that I am not too supprised to find out that you are a friendly bunch!

 

Just a quick newbie question but how do i join one of the orgs?

Do i just put my name on a list? Thanks in advance for helping ot a dunce in need

 

Note to other new members. It seems to me that we have a fer orgs chasing us. we could group together and demand favours and rewards if we join their orgs! mwahahaha chough splutter.. ;D

You'll find most ORGs have a sign up thread on their boards. For example, the Band of the Red Hand one is called "Sign In To Be A Raw Recruit". Post on that, and you'll be added to the ORG Usergroup, which will allow you to see their private boards. Then you'll get lots of information about how the ORG works and what you can do. Each ORG differs slightly.

You join as a Novice or an Algai, and can become either a Warder (Der'Manshima) or an Aes Sedai - we have female Warders and Ajah brothers! Each Ajah is themed (for example the Greens are the most social and the Whites like logic) and the warders are working on building new disciplines that look very exciting. You can bond, or not - whichever is your choice. Something interesting to note...the Ajahs are not always like the book ones. For instance...most of the reds love men!
