I just think it's only fair to give us the time we need to determine whether it's a false claim or not. We don't want to lynch our Finder, but I don't know who we can substitute for him.

I'm with ilgross on this one. One of the biggest advocaters against me in the beginning was bcxanth trying to miscontrue to people that the first person to vote was the finder having found a mafia. He wanted the real healer to claim before Tigara was lynched day one. Argued with me about the fact that the finder may not have findered a mafia the night before. Yes, he jumped off the votes pretty quickly, but honestly, in cases such as these, it's the people who jump off excessively fast that one needs to watch out for. Mafia sometimes get overzealous and don't want to have themselves found out in the least so try to make their actions look as beneficial as possible to the innocents. We can discern he isn't the healer as he wanted the healer to claim day 1. We can discern he isn't the finder cause he isn't me. At worst even if he is innocent, at least he is a roleless innocent and it narrows my searching down drastically. Especially after the night kill as I have fewer people to do searching on so it is beneficial for us at this stage to at least settle on someone so I can get on the path of trying to figure out whom is truly vile and who isn't.

 

BCX, he was talking about someone to vote for not whether you were going to unvote. I'm sorry, but things don't speak kindly for you. It isn't anything personal, just the facts.

Kryos you are still in the game it appears. I will stand by what I said earlier about BCX. I will let you all know that my gut has been off on other games, but I just have a feeling about him. Some of his posts just don't add up. Yes, he was rather quick to jump off the bandwagon on you Kyros. I don't think us voting for bcx will be a bandwagon either. I think it will be an actual killing of a mafia memeber.

Well then, you have two choices.

 

1) You can view me tonight, and we can lynch ilgross.

 

2) You can lynch me now, find out I'm innocent, and then view ilgross tonight.

 

If ilgross is evil, then that would be very helpful.

 

Day 2: Lynch me. 6 innocents left and 3 evils.

 

Night 2: Odds are good an innocent will die. 5 innocents left and 3 evils.

 

Day 3: Assuming Kryos views ilgross and confirms he's evil. Lynch ilgross. 5 innocents left and 2 evils.

 

Night 3: Odds are still good that an innocent dies. 4 innocents left and 2 evils.

 

Day 4: Odds are on the side of an innocent getting lynched barring a good Find the night before. 3 innocents left and 2 evils.

 

Night 4: Odds still in favor of the evils getting their kill in. 2 innocents and 2 evils left. Game over. Mafia wins.

 

This route gets you all one more day to get lucky then my previous estimation. I'm basing this onthe fact that the bandwagon got going pretty well on me before, and that I think ilgross is evil, you agree, and lynch him

 

So seriously, if you're going to vote for anyone other then ilgross, vote for me. Finish the day so Kryos can do his job.

Kryos, I can't agree with your logic here. He's made so many obvious blunders that he's either an innocent or a poor (Sorry!) Mafia evil. And if by 'jumping off excessively fast' you mean quickly unvoting someone who claims a role, that makes no sense. It's inconsistent with your voting. And unvoting varies with time zones/computer accessability, as several people have already pointed out. You've bought yourself some time, but claiming Finder doesn't make you one.

If you are referring to last game when you WERE MAFIA then I think I was kinda justifed in going after you...

 

People have all the time in the world to think for themselves before posting. I am voting for you 'cause I think you are scum. I think I have demonstrated my innocence, but not only not voting for the cop, but for telling people to unvote, instead of just saying:

 

"Oh well we lynched him lets wait for the death scene..."

 

You keep on presenting these plans based on your supposed innocence and my supposed guilt as those your opinions and what you are telling us (That you are innocent and that I am scum) are some set in stone truth, instead of pure conjector which at least half of happens to be wrong. And to be honest BCX, making claims on who you think the finder should view is in itself a scummish thing to do. Especially when there is no evidence pointing at certain people, it is like an attempt to get a bad reading for the night and force yet another day of random lynching. There is never in my opinion a time to suggest whom a finder should view. That's of course my opinion and everyone's varies. Just letting you know that it doesn't make you look too good in my eyes.

 

Loreina, I understand the timezone thing yes, but did I mention that when I did post, for the following 20+ minutes, bcx was still logged into DM and granted, he may not have viewed the game, but he was still logged in during that time frame. Trust me, I was refreshing every couple minutes hoping someone would return, but honestly, I was expecting SBoyd to be the one to post next. That's just an observation of mine, it honestly doesn't mean much cause he could've been doing anything, could've walked away leaving the web browser on the site, but it is still something that does look fishy in my eyes.

And Kryos, most of the time I'm online before 12am EST, I'm at work. Therefore I have to take calls from customers, and those calls can take anywhere from 5 minutes to over an hour.  I'm sorry that I didn't unvote you soon enough for your comfort.

 

And as for me asking you to view ilgross, how is that any different from the both of you telling people to vote for me?

Alright BCxanth, for starters, I said it looks scummish to me even though I admit that there could easily be other reasons for it, and honestly, I wasn't expecting anyone to unvote me before SBoyd, so in my opinion, no one unvoted me fast enough for my liking as I thought I was for sure dead, hence my quick comment without worrying about deliberating about anything further than that I am the finder and thanks everyone for voting for me, enjoy the rest of the game. No where do I recall saying you didn't unvote in a timely manner that I am aware of, if I did, apologize for having said that before. Right now you are frustrated as are the rest of us who are not mafia at this moment. It is to be expected, and I actually understand that, I've been in your position enough times now, trust me. And honestly I'm not telling others to vote for you per se. I'm mainly giving my reasonings why I am voting for you and allowing others to decide. Either way, the rate we are going, we'll hit the deadline before anyone makes any decisions and I'll possibly end up being lynched anyhow so you at least have that working in your favor at the moment. This right here is one of the reasons that these games work best in a manner other than forums. Full interactivity during the entire course of the game makes things run smoother as you don't have to wait for people to be awake or whatnot and things don't get as askewed as they do via forums, but alas, that is the medium we use here.

 

Honestly, if you had a better choice to vote for, I'd be all for it, ilgross though isn't a choice that I'd be willing to go after at this moment in time. The only things I am sure about is that I am good, who another innocent is, and that you bcxanth are neither the finder nor the healer. We have no good information to be going off of right now which makes this overly frustrating. I am trying my best overall to come up with a solution that would work for everyone and hopefully get a mafia for sure, but there is no telling at this time. Hopefully I am able to garner something over the night time and know something more than I did before and be able to be helpful as right now I cannot be helpful at all due to the obvious reasons. All I can do is offer advice and give the point of view I have for others to weigh and measure and see how it stacks up in their minds. By all means, come up with a sound reasoning for someone else to be lynched and I'd be all for it. I am not parading to have anyone lynched who doesn't need to be lynched, but the truth of the matter is someone needs to be lynched, and more likely than not, on day two, with what we have, it will be an innocent.

Problem is, nobody has any concrete evidence against anyone. So therefore it's completely impossible for me to present a case for anyone with anything other then a hunch as my proof. Now if you're saying the person you viewed that turned out innocent is ilgross, then I'll drop it right now. But without that, we don't have anything to go on, and so a hunch is as good as anything else.

 

But hey, I'm not voting for ilgross. Since nobody else agrees with me, it's a wasted vote. So I voted for myself. At least it'll help get the day over with, and then you won;t have to waste a night viewing me and so have a better chance of finding an evil.

Now I don't think you have a case in fact I think the case against you is much stronger hence my vote, and so you can expect me to say so, but I think the giving up and voting for yourself, when you presumably know you are innocent is just...I don't know, but you are giving up, and so unless you really are mafia I would encourage you to defend yourself.

 

That doesn't mean I won't take your attacks lieing down, but you should never give up.

Sorry guys, I was having connectivity issues last night.  Kryos why did you wait so long to claim?

 

I'm in Germany, time difference, was at work unable to log into the site, well, actually, I was logged in, just was so busy with work that was unable to check the site and when I last checked there were like 3 votes on me and 4 on bcx, didn't see a need to reveal at that time. I'm in the Army, in Germany, so my hours are definitely not standard by most people.
